Just wanted to give y'all an update on the lowkey turmoil we've been experiencing here at Petty Pumpkins Productions due to YouTube being dumb and stupid!
A few days ago we posted our edited reaction to Strange Darling which was immediately removed from YouTube an hour after it was posted due to "Violating Community Guidelines." They did not give a specific timestamp but instead stated that basically the entire video was violating the guidelines because the plot of the movie revolves around "sexualization fetishes." (??????) We now have a strike on our channel which means we can't post for a week and we're on probation until April. If we get 2 more strikes our channel gets permanently deleted.
So with that being said, we had every intention of reacting to Babygirl for the channel but since the concept of the movie is about "sexualization fetishes" we are now super paranoid about reacting to anything that even gets near that territory and it just is not worth risking not being able to post/possibly losing the channel for us to react. So we won't be reacting to Babygirl BUT we were planning on going to see WOLF MAN (2025) in theaters and are going to wait and react to that one instead as a trade. Hopefully y'all understand where we're coming from ❤️

Maybe an older series like My So Called Life or old 80s comfort watch movies? Princess Bride, Karate Kid, Uncle Buck, etc. REALLY don't want you to lose the channel or income

I follow other content creators who compose their own music and use as an intro on their channel and they received copyright strikes for their music! You Tube has admitted it was in error though would likely happen again due to their algorithm. Insane!

I have only been watching youtube for 4 years now, but that's one thing I have heard from creators since day one: youtube blocking, striking, removing content and/or channels because of these type of issues. Isn't there a set of guidelines? Can creators band together in solidarity? I would talk to other creators to see if they have advice? Censorship hurts everyone.

If you filmed anything we would love to see it on patreon but if not we Totally understand. I hate when youtube does this to creators it makes you afraid to post out of a big worry. There guidelines are a joke. But we ❤️ you guys always and are here to support anyway we can.
