2025-01-03 01:22:53 +0000 UTCA most disappointing conclusion. Early on, I really liked how the show did try to update itself, mainly with the contestants, some of whom were very funny. The influencer and the followers were the funniest to me. I also liked the bit with the very detailed triangle that turned out to he a dream, playing with our expectations. But overall, this is like a holding pattern, just stay tuned for more, etc. I'll watch season 3, but I already am primed against it. Oh, one thing I loved was the ex army man who was transitioning, that really was one of the best parts of the season.

2025-01-02 21:38:21 +0000 UTCI wonder if Dae-Ho is even a marine. He spooked so easily getting the ammo. I think when he left the 1st time, he had a fake tattoo so he could fit in with the other marines to feel safer and part of a pact. Just speculating, obviously.

2025-01-02 01:57:57 +0000 UTCYes, this entire season was about In-Ho proving to Gi-Hun that those on the fringes of society will always behave selfishly, even when given the option of an "out" AND someone telling them exactly what their futures entail should they stay in the games. That's why In-Ho "supported" Gi-Hun so outwardly until the last second. I also thought the "double agent" boat captain was a little obvious. He was clearly instructed by In-Ho to save his brother's life after season one, but to never let Jun-Ho get to the truth. I don't think this season was as sensational as season one, but I loved how fast things moved and I'm so excited for season 3!

I have a theory about this season though, I feel like if this isn't what it is then this whole thing is going to be kind of a flop. But, my theory is that this is whole about breaking Gi Hun, In Ho may be trying to mold him into a future Front Man. Think about this, in the first season, the people in the games, we were rooting for a lot of them! This time, we're not because most of them are pretty despicable, this is to show Gi Hun that the world IS filled with trash because he hasn't seen it yet, if you refer to that conversation in the limo! They're going to try to make him suffer, which is probably why In Ho inserted himself in the first place, to break his hope, break his will, to the end of making HIM run the games or something. I dunno, that's what I'm thinking!

2024-12-29 23:03:50 +0000 UTCI enjoyed a lot of this season- Chekhov's almost-due-preggo situation(I'm waiting for the disaster there), the mom and trans woman have such a sweet growing relationship (destined to end tragically I'm sure), sniper lady is so fascinating, the marines were super cute. Sorry to say Shaman lady bores me.... Purple hair rapper annoys the shit out of me but I'll admit I enjoyed watching/hating him, his energy was fun lol. I enjoyed the new voting aspect, and it's interesting to know about the Frontman this time around. They're doing a good job of keeping me wondering what the hell he is doing ๐ BUT I'm super unimpressed with the ending. I love a good cliffhanger when I don't have to wait long before getting more. Leaving me hanging completely just irritates me lol. So sorry for referring to my favourite character as the Trans Woman, I don't remember names or numbers - just faces. But she's so fucking awesome and badass and gorgeous, I'd follow her anywhere ๐ฅฐ
