2024-12-13 22:28:01 +0000 UTCI always interpreted it as a highly sophisticated computer virus/malware that had essentially gone amuck, and it's directive was to take over accounts, scrape all the data from the account, and then imitate and replace the original account owner. The fact that we have no indication of the goal/benefit the virus had (i.e. the end game just seemed to be take over the person's account/image, not steal all their money, etc.) makes it scarier, but it does follow the pattern of taking over Lola's account/personality, and her main goal: Get to number 1. In the end, it had to follow the rules of a computer program by sticking to that main directive. Alice threatened the idea she would get to number 1 by first showing her to be a fake (the chat starts to turn in Alice's tide then) and then by saying the boys would never trust her again if Lola didn't follow through on the deal. I also love the idea that Alice is now using 'EveBot' because she got cool new camming ideas from the virus lol.
