2025-10-23 02:25:06 +0000 UTCOk so I’m a total dork and know to many random things. This town looks like it is located in the Smokey Mountains somewhere. In real life there is a coal mining town called Centralia, Pennsylvania where a vein of coal was accidentally set on fire. The whole towns residents had to be removed due to the toxic chemicals that were being released in the air and still are. The fire has not been able to be put out and probably will burn for another 250 years. It’s a crazy story and Silent Hill was inspired by this town in Pennsylvania. Also, coal miners would use canary’s in cages to detect poisonous gases in mining tunnels. They would carry them around and if the bird died they knew to get out of that area because there were poisonous gases in that spot. Ok now my nerdy knowledge has been shared. Have a great day guys! You make scary movies a little less scary for me. I was wrong; I've never seen this movie before. The first movie i saw Jodie in was CASE 39. SHE'S AMAZINGLY talented and a wonderful actress. This movie is scaring the s#$/ out of me and I'm almost 47! It's hard to even go out to smoke a cigarette by myself. 😂🚬 The music is wonderful though.
