One of the reason i like haikyu is how realistic the story is, just bc karasuno is the main team doesnt mean they always have to win esp when they just become better recently, so there is always room to learn and grow.. its so well written

They learned from their mistakes and turned that pain into growth. That match wasn’t a failure, it was the moment the fallen crows began to rise again. The applause from the audience said it all, and Sugawara's line about Kageyama, "Kageyama's not the lonely King anymore" perfectly showed Kageyama’s growth in such a short time. I also love how we get each team’s perspective: everyone wants to go to Nationals. Aoba Jōsai aims to defeat Shiratorizawa and become number one, while Karasuno simply wants to keep playing, keep flying, and eventually reach the top in their own way. To me, and to my younger self, that match was never really a loss, but an experience that laid the foundation for everything that followed 🩷🌸 Thanks for the reaction 🩷🌸
