Go Ahead Ep 21

Totally agree. Honestly, this trope really shouldn’t be treated as something normal. If I were Jianjian, I’d be super uncomfortable and confused too—imagine two men you’ve always looked up to like real brothers thinking about you that way. Saying it bluntly, it’s kind of creepy tbh 😭😂 That said, this series handles it a bit better because the eldest brother had feelings for her since they were kids—it’s not like he suddenly fell for her when they reunited after she grew up. The show consistently shows how he’s always cared for her and seen her as a woman, so from the audience’s perspective, their relationship doesn’t feel as bad. But yeah, when you look at it from Jianjian’s point of view, her reaction makes total sense. As for the second brother… I think he was just confused about his own feelings lol 😂

Don't watch the intro until you've completed the show. It spoils everything even a few scenes from the finale episode.

Is it just me that feels uncomfortable with the romanticization of the adoptive sibling trope? Like they were raised as siblings and then when they’re adults they suddenly like each other?! I find that so weird and the fact it’s so common in dramas the adoptive siblings and step siblings😭
