Demon Slayer: Kimetsu No Yaiba The Movie: Infinity Castle

Comments

Here it’s clear to us that Akaza didn’t choose to be a demon, literally Muzan left him no other choice, Hakuji (akaza) told him that he no longer cared about anything, but Muzan decided to give him his blood, and when he transformed, he forgot his memories, definitely one of the saddest stories 💔💔

I can only say that you have to prepare yourself mentally (I read the manga)

LMAO now that I replay this part, it's funny as hell LOL

My opinion on the Infinity Castle movie: First of all, it was an amazing movie ❤️‍🔥 1. Shinobu : Can we appreciate her and be proud of her? I didn’t cry in the theater because I got spoiled way before, but it still hurt. She literally fought Upper Moon 2!!!! She went up against the second strongest demon, knowing full well she couldn’t decapitate him. She fought using pure speed, precision, intelligence, and strategy, not brute strength. Her lungs were already damaged, she was breathing in Doma’s Blood Demon Art the entire fight, and yet she kept moving, kept attacking, and never once backed down. That alone is insane. Shinobu didn’t fight to overpower, she fought to outplay, and everything she did was calculated. Strength isn’t just about muscle, it’s about IQ and sacrifice, and Shinobu had all three. She wasn’t weak, she was terrifyingly smart. Hats off to her. Rest in peace, Shinobu 🦋🩵💜 2. Zenitsu : He was awake for the entire fight, he wasn’t asleep at all this time 🔥🔥 and on top of that, he unleashed a 7th form God of Fire Thunder that he created himself. And this is just my personal thought, but didn’t his technique kind of resemble Tanjiro’s Water Breathing 10th form, with the dragon visuals? In Season 1, Tanjiro mixed it with Hinokami Kagura, and here we see Zenitsu using Thunder Breathing fused with fire-like intensity, taking the shape of a divine dragon too. It’s not official lore, but the parallels between the two techniques are insanely cool, both channel their elements into a dragon manifestation of their spirit, showing how far they’ve grown ⚡🔥 It’s not a theory or lore-accurate information, I just found it really cool ⚡⚡⚡ And let’s talk about the Upper Moon 6, Kaigaku. Zenitsu fought him, because that man was truly unhinged. He betrayed Gyomei, the very monk who saved and raised him, and later betrayed the former Thunder Hashira, the man who took him in and trained him. He was rotten in childhood and in his teenage years. Betrayal wasn’t a mistake for him, it was a pattern. Like… how horrible do you have to be to sell out the people who saved your life twice ? 3. Murata : Truly the immortal NPC 😭 This man survived every season with barely a scratch. My respect for him is huge 💯 4. Giyuu Tomioka : Let’s talk about my guy Giyuu. Bro literally awakened his Demon Slayer Mark because his back hurt 😭, jokes aside, he was aura farming the entire movie. Giyuu fought Akaza head-on, calm, silent, unshaken. No trash talk, no flexing, just pure presence. Every move was clean, controlled, and heavy. He didn’t need to prove anything, his skill spoke for him. That’s real strength. And Akaza knew it. That’s why he kept asking for his name. In Akaza’s world, learning someone’s name means acknowledging them as a worthy warrior. Giyuu refusing to give it? Cold. Absolute silence as an answer. That wasn’t arrogance, that was self-respect and discipline. Then Tanjiro accidentally blurts it out 😭💀 like BRO?? The timing was crazy, but it just made the moment funnier because Giyuu stayed unbothered. Still locked in. Giyuu isn’t loud, flashy, or dramatic. He’s restraint, composure, and experience. A man who carries survivor’s guilt, grief, and responsibility and still shows up when it matters most. And what hurts the most about Giyuu is that he never sees himself the way others do. This is a man who has spent years blaming himself for his Sabito’s death, convincing himself he didn’t deserve to be the Water Hashira. He carries survivor’s guilt so heavy that it silenced him, isolated him, and made him believe his life was borrowed. And yet… look at him. The same man who says he’s unworthy stood his ground against Akaza. Not just any demon, THE Akaza. Upper Moon Three. A monster who lives for battle and respects only the strongest. And Giyuu didn’t crumble. He didn’t hesitate. He matched him with calm precision and unshakable resolve. That’s the tragedy of Giyuu: he is extraordinary, but his heart is still mourning. He doesn’t fight for praise, validation, or recognition. He fights because it’s his duty, because people need protecting, because someone has to stand there, even if he believes he shouldn’t exist. Giyuu Tomioka isn’t just strong. He is resilience. He is restraint. He is quiet sacrifice. A man who thinks he doesn’t deserve his title…while proving, with every breath, exactly why he does 🌊💯 5. Ubuyashiki’s children : The last three are incredibly strong, especially mentally, and especially the boy. They’re so young, yet they already move like leaders. I truly believe that Ubuyashiki hid them from Muzan on the day of the explosion, especially his only son. First, because it was part of his plan, and second, because he is the future Ubuyashiki leader, the only son and boy left of the Ubuyashiki clan. 6. The man talking with Uzui was Kyojuro’s father. Rengoku is the surname, not the first name, that’s why some people got confused. It wasn’t Rengoku’s ghost. 7. Tanjiro's father : Can we talk about Tanjuro Kamado??? Because the way he could sense danger from miles away, even before the bear entered their territory, and then behead it in less than a second?! He deserves SO much respect 🌞🔥 Even though he was never part of the Demon Slayer Corps, Tanjuro was already operating on a completely different level. He could perform the Hinokami Kagura all night, read movements with insane precision, and even access the Transparent World, all with just his frail charcoal seller’s body. He already had skills that rivaled the Hashira, without training, without a Nichirin blade, and without battlefield experience. Just imagine how unstoppable he would’ve been with formal training, a healthy body, and real combat experience! Muzan and the Upper Moons would have had real trouble, especially Muzan. He’d probably need years of therapy (though he’s already terrified of Yoriichi 😆). Hats off to Tanjuro. The Kamado line truly preserved something extraordinary 🔥🌞 I can’t wait to see more in the next two movies!!! 8. Tanjiro : He was insane in this movie. The fact that Akaza literally said he had to kill Tanjiro quickly because he was dangerous at that moment was CRAZY. Like… what do you mean Akaza said that??!!! My sisters and I were laughing when Tanjiro warned Akaza before attacking him, but thinking about it more deeply, it actually makes sense. Akaza despises weak people and especially hates cowardly attacks from behind. Looking at his backstory, Hakuji was a martial artist, and martial arts are about fairness, facing your opponent directly and accepting defeat when you lose. And knowing that his wife and master/father-in-law were killed by poison, the most cowardly way, instead of facing him directly, Tanjiro warning him actually saved both himself and Giyuu. If Tanjiro had attacked from behind, I genuinely believe Akaza would’ve gone into full rage and wiped them both. 9. Lastly, Akaza : His backstory was heartbreaking, no lie, but I still think it’s important to separate the human (Hakuji) from the demon (Akaza). Hakuji lived a life full of suffering, and when he finally found peace, humans took it away from him. That’s when he snapped and killed those responsible in a horrific way. He had no hope left, and Muzan forcibly turned him into a demon, leaving him with no real choice. Even if Muzan hadn’t done that, the authorities would’ve hunted Hakuji down anyway. Akaza, however, lived by the belief "I need to get stronger," and as a demon, he killed and ate countless people. A lot of people say things like "Akaza never ate women because of his wife" or "If he ate women and children, he’d be stronger than Doma," but none of that is canon. That’s pure headcanon/fanon, nothing in the manga or anime confirms it. As for why he stopped regenerating and accepted death, it’s because he acknowledged that Tanjiro fought him fair and square. The moment he was beheaded, the fight was over. And here’s my interpretation : I believe that, deep down, it was Hakuji finally being tired of all the suffering, breaking free from Muzan’s control the moment his wife reached out to him. The fact that his wife was in heaven but willingly followed him into hell just to be with him again is honestly insane. Honestly, I do think Akaza is one of the most tragic and compelling characters in Demon Slayer. His tattoos aren’t just for show, they literally tell the story of his life. As a human, Hakuji had tattoos on his wrists, marking him as a criminal during the Edo era. It’s insane to think about how young he was and what he went through. Those wrist tattoos alone show the violence and suffering that were already a part of him. After he became a demon, the tattoos spread across his body, symbolizing how his human past combined with his demon deeds. They represent the hundreds of people he killed after transformation, the rage he carried, and the fact that he was almost consumed entirely by Muzan’s influence. Yet even with all that, he’s not just a mindless villain, he fights with rules, honor, and a weird sense of discipline that comes from his martial arts past. Even in Infinity Castle, we see Akaza’s incredible strength and skill. The way he fought Tanjiro and Giyuu was insane, every strike, every technique showed not just power, but intelligence and experience. And the fact that he stopped fighting when he recognized Tanjiro’s strength and fairness? That was respectful, heartbreaking, and beautifully human at the same time. Akaza is terrifying, tragic, and brilliant all at once. You can’t just call him a villain, he’s a full story, a life lived in pain, and a fighter who earned every bit of his power. Honestly, he deserves all the flowers. 🌸💯 Hakuji’s story is tragic, but Akaza was still a demon who killed countless people to become that strong, so yeah even after giving him flowers I still separate both of his versions 🙃 By the way, I also saw memes of Kyojuro being mad at Hakuji's wife like, "Why didn’t you show up when I was fighting your husband?" those were funny, not gonna lie 😭 And yeah… Trish lost Shinobu. Queen and Collin lost Akaza. I already have theories for the next movies, and honestly? They’re breaking my heart. I’m just hoping I’m wrong this time 😖🤞🏼

15:15 JAJAJAJ, just when douma was about to come out on screen, it was so good, I would say it was douma himself wanting to make an epic entry to demonstrate his great power 🤣

aeri

Literally, even the demons themselves hate Douma, even Muzan himself. I’ve seen that there are people that made memes where they put, “Muzan seeing that they have already killed Gyutaro, Daki, Hantengu, Gyokko and Akaza, but Douma is still alive” it is super funny, I literally consider that among all the upper moons, Douma is a true demon of the demons, he has no emotions or feelings, that’s why Muzan hates him when he sees that nothing affects him. 😂

Guys jjk season3 started please react to it🙏🙏🙏

I'll give my humble opinion on everything that happened. 1. Starting with Akaza's story, sympathizing with him doesn't mean I can justify the deaths, including Rengoku's. He's not one of my favorite characters; his design is beautiful, but beyond that, I'm not convinced by everything he did. 2. I think if Shinobu's death didn't move you much, it's understandable. She didn't have any story arc to connect with beyond the brief flashbacks to her past. If I'm not explaining myself well, it's not like Rengoku's or Uzui's story arcs. I'm not saying this for you, but for a part of the fandom that didn't care about her death. 3. The best fight was, without a doubt, Akaza's against Giyuu and Tanjiro; it was on another level, without a doubt. Of the three fights, it was the one with the most action. They also put up a fight, and in fact, it was decided when Tanjiro activated the transparent world, but to avoid the fandom considering it a plot hole, as they always do, they opted for Akaza's suicide. 4. Finally, prepare yourselves mentally because the last two movies are going to be huge.

Valentina

need to accept that Akaza won’t be lose if he is not a good person and tanjiro and Giyu won’t be alive by now
