I liked this episode; I found it bittersweet and insightful for both the characters and myself, as it was a turning point for Yi Fan's emotional processing and development towards trauma. It was essentially her first guidance on her trauma. I like the character Sen; he accidentally provided wonderful and necessary guidance to Yi Fan, who needed it and never really got it, from those closest to her at her most needed time, as she was condemned and brushed over in the time she needed it most, so Sen is someone who also experienced a lot of pain and loss of his passion due to external factors and was able to overcome and process his pain healthier and efficiently. It was very important what he said; as for Yi Fan, he was a reflection of her similar pain and also a role model and a hope figure that she could do the same, which gave her some courage later to directly approach San Yang by calling him instead of continuous avoidance. I also liked how Su Hao An was able to show how genuinely he has grown in how he perceived relations in the past as transactional, materialistic and pushing for change due to his past relationships with his exes and built-up emotional trauma from parents and siblings' deaths. He now sees relationships should be about character compatibility, comfort and emotional understanding of people that naturally fosters change and romantic actions to express love. He then communicated this beautifully to Zhong Si Qiao, letting her know how much he had developed and was ready and compatible for a realtionship with her, so she accepted.
