Sorry for absence

a bunch of dogs i didnt post
new pokemon cat evolution (idk why I even did that)
and i think 3rd attempt to make new apogee starsector portrait
I still hate it and gonna try more... its just evidence of me actually trying doing something else and studying

drawing humans in 2022... bruh

talking about that and studying
I never had that little enthusiasm to learn something new and its because of AI art
learning to draw is such a long process and its weird to invest so much time when in 1 - 2+ years AI will replace us completely

And for people who think that AI would never do that: in some time you will have super detailed generators/art creators where you would be able to choose pose/viewing angle/even specific artist's style of anything
It sounds super pessimistic but i actually trying to be more realistic here

will people accept it and ditch old ways - thats different question impossible to predict really

also

streaming was a mistake lol
no only im an unfunny shitlord who can barely talk but also art process is like 10 times as difficult and even worse because of that
idk what to do with that
but ye im fucked here lol

I was excited to open commissions, do YCH and other stuff at the beginning of the month
but it seems like i have to force it now... damn

This is beautiful art bomb to drop. Yeah. Can't rightly predict how everything with AI art will shake out. Will it get regulated and reduced to specific use cases? Will art fans seek a literal art-churning machine? Time will tell. Personally, I feel more appreciation and awareness for how much goes into the art pieces I see. For so long, I've been admiring and searching for quantity but quality is becoming more important to me now. Rather than save every image of every character I like in a Booru, spending more time taking in the works of my favorite artists feels more worthwhile. I hope you and your fans keep making a place for yourselves. For as short a time as I've been here, hearing your thoughts and feelings towards these pieces have elevated them at many times. Anyway, those are just my thoughts. Here's wishing you well where you are.

Don't feel like you have to apologize for not always being here. It's all good. <3

No matter how good AI art gets I’ll still be looking for your posts, because when an artist like you draws there’s a personally behind it

AI won't replace art. The tech we're seeing now is the tech that's been in private development for years and it hasn't improved much, it's just become possible for normal people to use it due to cloud computing and advancements in computer hardware and software. For it to improve much beyond what it is now, we'll need substantial advancements in AI that we're not likely to see for a long time. Also, there's a lot of legal issues with it (since it works by using people's art without their permission to make the AI generate images) that will be challenged if it ever does start to affect people's incomes, and the general sentiment on art sites is outright banning it (fortunately). Currently, at least, it seems to suck at consistency anyway.

Even if AI replaced artists in a commercial sense, it's still a nice hobby. I personally enjoy it and don't intend to use it for income, but I still intend to study and improve my skills just cause it makes me happy.

And AI draws its 1 thing , never could eliminate an artist . sorry for my english , i can´t write so well .

i don´t think stream is a mistake . but your election is what it count ^^.

I'm not sure what to think of AI art. In many ways it's come a long way very quickly. But like a lot of new technologies, we don't really know how they'll be used in the future or how close or far we really are to solving the 'problem' of creativity and art creation and replacing artists. If you believed the hype 10 years ago we'd all be in self driving cars by this point. And we're no where near close to that being a reality. Early progress can often be really quick as you tackle the big problems. But then you encounter all the details and edge cases, and specifics, and getting from there to 100% is what takes the longest time. So I'm not sure I'd be so pessimistic.

Your streams we're pretty enjoyable not gonna lie

It’s ok 👍🏼
