Okay, so since there's only been a slight complete catastrophe regarding the picture I'm currently working on, I figured this would be as good a time as any to open another "Question and Answer" thread.
Feel free to ask any questions you'd like me to answer over the next day-or-two, but be aware that I'm not going to respond to any personal questions you might have. I may also end up not responding to your inquiry because of a reason I haven't yet considered.
I've learned that people always find a way to surprise you with something you'd never prepare for.
So feel free to ask away! Or don't. I'm not your parent or anything.
You should tidy your room though.

Actually, yes. I never go all that "thick" with ladies (I thought I did, but then I saw some artists that made me realize I hadn't even come close :P), but it's definitely something I think about. My own Monifa was only supposed to be a one-off for a single drawing, but I liked her so much I wanted to make her much more recurring.

2021-08-08 03:48:35 +0000 UTCDaphne was fairly straight forwards, in that I wanted to try my hand at making a character, I like fox types and I thought it'd be neat to have a mother. Similarly to that, I just thought it'd be fun to have an "ample" cartoon lady, since she's very much inspired by the old cartoon character Red, and the adult film star Darla Crane (I've only ever been interested in her damsel videos, but be careful Googling that name, dear reader :P). Little side fact for you: I had conceived of Freya (the arctic fox) long before Daphne, but I didn't actually work on a full design for her until after Daphne. They weren't related, even though they were both called Freya in the early stages. That was quickly changed because it was a terrible idea :P

2021-08-08 01:09:09 +0000 UTCSunmight is a love letter to the Gold and Silver Ages of comics (mostly the Silver age, but still!). The Flash alone was a treasure trove of fun stuff! In terms of her design, I looked at the likes of Kitty Pryde from X-Men: Evolution, Ino (of course), and some others for inspirations/wondering what I like about them so much. My love of yellow outfits managed to worm its way in there too :P
