Woody started out in the 50s writing comedy for TV and magazines, then branched out in the 60s doing stand-up. He and Diane have several collaborations. Try "Manhattan" some day. I loved all the celebrity cameos, and topical references, some of which might have been too far back for you young'uns. About those double subtitles: They were intended to show what they were thinking while they said other things. It had definite "SATC" vibes throughout. Also, Ms. Keaton, along with Sarah Jessica, appeared in that Holiday film I recommended: "The Family Stone".
