A Twerk Ethic Update!

Hi everyone! As always, thank you for supporting our dream. We just wanted to update you on what's going on over here in our world. AND we have a few asks from you if you can help.

• Hamilton: First, we are about to release ACT I of Hamilton. Already filmed! We did a few videos with a special guest, and then the rest of ACT I was with us two.

  • As part of this, we will also release a long-form episode with our special guest, Nick Kirk. Nick writes musicals for a living and is about to release a full-length feature film. It was great to get his reaction and perspective to Hamilton, as he ALSO had never seen it. He walked us through how to compose music for a film and musical. We dive deep into our favorite composer, John Williams, and react to the soundtracks of Jaws, Jurassic Park, Indiana Jones, The Terminal, Saving Private Ryan, JFK, E.T., Star Wars....so much fun!

• Olivia Rodrigo: Second, we fell in love with Olivia Rodrigo. We hope her other songs are similar. We reacted to Obsessed from GUTS tour Netflix - you'll see that soon. AN ASK: If you have a copy of the GUTS tour, please DM us, and we'll react to all of it!

• Harry Styles: We reacted to our first ever Harry Styles truly live video - Sign of the times Graham Norton. Had no idea this dude could sing like that - mad respect. We'll do more live stuff but up next for Harry will be Harry's House. We want to be caught up before his fourth album drops!

• Eras Tour: AN ASK: The next Eras Tour we'll do is Tortured Poets! We have a version sent to us by one of you (thank you!) shot from the crowd. It's not great quality, but it may be the best option we have seen yet. If you have a high-quality option for this, please send it our way!!!! DM us, please. And we'll do our best.

• Lady Gaga: Some have asked will we react to Lady Gaga's full album when it drops in February - absolutely we will! We have enjoyed the album reactions more than we thought, so stay tuned for many, many more

• Submission Form: Fortunately, we are growing tremendously. That said, we do our best to keep up with comments, but seeing everything is challenging. Therefore, in the coming weeks, we will introduce a proper channel to submit more requests, something we will regularly check. We will build this form to be able to recognize patterns so that we can stay aware of the pulse of what you guys want to see the most.

• Our Life: 

  • It snowed here last night (weird for Georgia) and Cooley is home for a few days from his tour. We filmed yesterday, and he leaves again this week. He'll be in Lexington KY Friday, Columbus OH Suturday, and Charlotte NC Sunday. If you're in the area, go watch him slay the drums!

  • We got a new neon Twerk Ethic sign that we can't wait to put up! It's so lovely. We also finally got some new cameras that will hopefully allow us to start shooting in 4k instead of 1080p. Super excited about that.
