But I know almost all the songs and the story, plus I love both Ariana and Cynthia (and Jeff Goldblum). Not to mention Glee where both Idina AND Kristin had recurring roles and Defying Gravity was sung a few times. Btw, Idina got "revenge" the year after by saying his name was Glom Gazingo, though John's behaviour on stage was weird and creepy (he kept touching her face in a very creepy way). 2024-11-20 00:45:11 +0000 UTCSaw it last night also! Arianna was beyond amazing an considering they sang LIVE on the movie you hear every part of her 8 octave range.... Movie was Def worth waiting 20 yeas for the soundtrack not so much. If anything I'd suggest the original Broadway recording 2 legends at their best... They have a movie cameo and I DON'T think they sing their part live sadly! But ♥️ Wicked!

I'm not sure if the soundtrack will be shortened, because the sequences are drawn out in the movie, but it was so beautiful! Cynthia and Ariana were made for these roles. As a lifelong Wicked fan, I'm so happy with it. It really felt like a love letter to the stage show and theater as a whole.
