Tier Changes Phase 1 + Embedded Workflows

TL;DR: most of the files in the release archive have embedded workflows and generation data. So, Mom Balls subscribers have been getting a free Teachers Balls benefit in that regard (though Teachers Balls get more images and videos, additional prompts, and notebook access). As a result, to better match value and make things more fair, I'm lowering Teachers Balls pricing to $8 as a "Phase 1" to the tier changes. Further changes coming. Out on vacation 3/27-4/1 this month as well.

Hi everyone! Another post for today since I found something out a few days ago and I've been trying to figure out how to approach it. Let's just say that I'm still learning a lot. Roughly 3 months ago I'd only dabbled in tools like Grok, ChatGPT, and Dall-E. Now my VRAM is cookin' 8-12 hours a day doing generation.

That said, apparently the raw clips and images I've been sharing for the most part (those generated in CivitAI and ComfyUI and Automatic1111) have all their workflow and generation metadata embedded in the file. It is just a matter of retrieving it using one of many programs that can retrieve metadata from different file types, or one of the gen tools. For example, uploading one of my image files to CivitAI will have it autopopulate the generation data. Dragging and dropping one of my image or video files onto a ComfyUI window will have it automatically load the embedded workflow. So, all that said, the lengths I was going through to save prompt and generation data manually was mostly for nothing. Well, mostly, because not every tool does this. For example, most SAAS tools (CivitAI excepted) don't do this. So, Kling, Vidu, PixVerse don't seem to embed gen data from what I've been able to figure out so far. If I'm wrong on that, please let me know!

So, that discovery has helped clarify what I've already been thinking about in terms of tier changes. First off, I feel like Teachers Balls isn't as good a value now considering that Mom Balls is getting the same benefit of access to workflows embedded in most of the files in the release archive (just not combined videos, larger videos, and watermarked files since in most cases the metadata is not preserved). To that end, I'm going to immediately lower Teachers Balls price to $8. That fits in well with my other planned changes to tier pricing, and until I get those implemented I don't want to feel like I'm overcharging Teachers Balls patrons, but rather giving them a good value. Mom Balls patrons I think will be fine for now since they are getting a benefit they probably weren't aware they had (at least I wasn't aware, ha!). I hope some of you go forth and generate!

Another planned change is a lower tier to make membership more accessible to the cash-strapped and increase the price and benefits of the Mom Balls tier. Again, Mom Balls subscribers need not worry. You'll be getting the additional benefits at your current locked in price. Once I finalize the plan, I'll DM out an announcement to each tier with changes they can expect with lead time before the changes go into effect. I'm going to try to make it painless and ensure existing patrons only benefit from changes. And I'll be paying attention to feedback to ensure the changes are a net benefit for all concerned.

Lastly, I'll be out on vacation from 3/27 to 4/1 at the end of this month. I'll be trying to amass enough stuff to keep my social media posting while I'm out and do a dump of content for patrons before I go.
