ALTERNATIVE TRISS | MAIN SET OF MAY

Hi, my sweethearts! <3

After 2 years we reached the goal of this costume I managed to finish "Alternative Triss" - the Main Set of May!

Honestly, during the making of this costume I understood why I unconsciously delayed it - I've been doing this cosplay for 2 months many hours many days in row.  Again I understimated the time and efforts for my work, and I'm happy that it's done ! I caught myself thinking that 2 years ago I knew about sewing, costume making and crafting not so much to do it in a good way, so time played right into my hands.  Let me tell you what I've done this time:

♡ floral ornaments - woah, it's the longest part (I guess you will be fell tired reading it - but imagine how tired I was doing it XD). Firstly I got light golden eco-leather (didn't have the alternative - it will influence the future). Then - 1) I attached tracing paper to the done dress with pins and marked with a pen borders of ornaments, 2) draw on tracing paper the outline of ornaments, 3) cut it out, 4) transfer to leather, 5) cut our from leather, 6) stiched every piece along the edge with sewing machine, 7) (I chose the leather which doesn't match the golden braid) I colored every piece with airbrush 9) glued every piece to the dress. In total I had 62 pieces. boom XD

♡ golden ornaments on back and borders - you see these long lines on hem and all over the dress, I had to draw this ornament too on the dress with chalk and not forget about the symmetry. I used about 30 metres of golden leather braid.

♡ sleeves - the fabric part and the dress itself was made by my lovely sewer, but decorations was the my responsibility. I got silver ornaments, colored them with black paint and attached to sleeves + pluss I added buttonhole stitch

♡ belt - I made it with eco-leather, EVA-foam and band. 1) sketched the form of a single piece on paper, 2) transfered it to EVA, 3) cut it out, 4) glued leather to EVA, 5) colored borders with the mix of 3 colors: brown, magenta and white, 6) glued all together, 7) attached on elactic band

♡ skirt - I remade the ready skirt to make the process easier+ plus finding pleated fabric is hard and added golden lace on edge.

♡ "leg part" - honestly, I planned to do it by myself, but the time was almost over and I asked my crafter to help me with it, so we've do it together from EVA-foam, leather and golden braid.

♡ wig is styled by me XD I don't know what to say more about it!

OMG! I write so much, but it doesn't describe all the work my sewer, crafter and me done to finsh Triss Alternative look, all the difficulties and struggles, all the moments!

This set is available from "My Gadener" tier till "My King" tier in May!

P.S. til the end of May I plan to finish 1 retouch set, sorry for these huge delays, I was all over finishing Triss!
