Wonder Woman's new life

Now that I'm finally comfortable with messy lineart, drawing comic doesn't feel too punishing. Although I should probably try to avoid coloring the comic page (it takes twice as long and I'm still bad at coloring environment) and just focus on finishing the comic drawing first. I don't know what they are myself, but just doing character art without having to grinding on background felt relaxing. There was no planning or thinking involved when drawing this, each details were drawn by how I felt what should be there.

The latest commission with Aidenke  featuring a bunch of DC girls! Harly, Stargirl, Cyclone, Ivy, Batgirl (Steph), Supergirl, and a new face in the scene, Shiv. This is quite a commission piece, one of my most complex composition I have made.

January Sketch Compilation

I finally purchased a photo scanner so I can finally post my pen on paper sketches properly. Most of these I sketch freehand with pen, but around at the end, I started sketching with colored pencil first before I ink the sketches.

January Art Dump

For this year, I thought I wanted to try simpler art so I'm not so stressed out drawing, but I'm kinda not satisfied with it. This Wonder Woman piece feels unfinished.

I also including a work in progress of a commission work I've been working on this month. It's quite big artwork, I though I could finished it by the end of this month, but I couldn't. It's in the final stage, so this will be posted for February's Art post

This sketch is from one of October's sketch, I'm thinking making this into a drawing. Just the girl without background. One idea I have is another Wonder Woman artwork with magical tentacles summoned by Zatanna. But I've never done any Patreon community suggestion artwork before, about time I start doing this. If the character you're suggesting also have tentacle monster in the lore, that would be better!

This month only managed to fill 2 pages of canvas with sketches because I had to focus on finishing several commissions some of it were in progress for more than two months. Also working on the next Monster Lab series is taking me longer than previous ones since I decided to get back using Blender 3D for the background.
