Monochrom Saturday (with rosary).

Towards the end of the shooting, when the daylight from the window was getting dim and it was raining heavily, I decided to shut off all lights in the hotel room and grab the Leica M10 Monochrom to test its true potentials, and this camera amazed me once more.
Shooting at 12,500 ISO, the BW sensor is still capable of making some of the most significant photos I've ever made.
Not sure if the low light is making the model relax, or if it is the soft light filtering through the curtain giving the atmosphere, but I think these pictures are truly unique, and once more I am convinced that some cameras are really making the difference!
I'm ashamed for having used the M10 M exclusively looking at the back screen, also for focusing, but I don't care this time, because it was working well for me, and gave good results, and that is all that matters.
By the way, I also noticed that Lightroom was automatically applying a light reduction of noise on the files from the M10, but this time I deactivated it completely to make you fully enjoy the digital grain from this Leica, and I will probably do it also for all other photos made with this camera in the future.
I'm happy to reduce the noise on color pictures, also from the GFX, but somehow I find it rude to do it on the Leica Monochrom files.

Opposite to Julia Morozzi, Miss Blondt refused to wear handcuffs, but was comfortable wearing the rosary, and I love how the white beads are standing out from the skin of the model in such different ways between the part in light and the part in shadow of her cleavage, or how the dark crucifix is nearly reaching her navel.
You are not supposed to wear Rosaries as necklaces, but only to handle them while praying.
Some are not even wide enough to pass through the head, and the branch with the crucifix is always too long and goes far below decency would allow.
But on a nude body it is perfectly proportionate and visually meaningful.

I realize that this is the first photo with a rosary I am posting, even if I have used some with other models (Maria and Barbora).
It is a special object that can produce some singular reactions in every single model, like a catalyst for emotions, and I want to explore this topic with every model that is comfortable with it in the future, choosing specific rosaries to suit the aspect or character of the various ladies.
This to me appears to be a perfect match, between Miss Blondt and this simple and inexpensive rosary from Rome.

One more BW photo of Miss Blondt today on my regular social media feed.

Clearly your Leica Monochrom appreciates that you are not rude to it - it has rewarded you with something magical.
