Mirroring.

I was searching for a photo of Linda to post, and this one got my attention for the play between the real woman and her image in the mirror, and how the balance in requiring our full attention.
The model's eye is in focus, but not her breast, so our attention shifts inside the mirror, to find a frontal nude pretty much completely in focus and with exquisite details, but missing the face, so we shift back to the real subject again...
Also the low angle is helping to make this photo well balanced, with no specific element requiring our full attention.

As usual during Summer, August has been a disappointing month for incomes on my paid platforms, and both Patreon and DA went severely downhill!
I'm not worried people are not appreciating my work any more, because it is happening every year, possibly because in the Summer my followers are going on holiday and have no time to look at my work (so they momentarily suspend subscriptions), or because this period requires more expenses in other directions.
Whatever the reason, the income of this month was very helpful to almost cover the entire expenses of the 4 shootings made during August.
The #BramleyApple treasury will have time to recover during the Winter months and all money will be invested in future models, gear, or projects.
Of course the Leica M10 Monochrome purchase was handled with my own money and had nothing to do with the regular management of the project, even if it is going to be used for it.
When your photographic work coincides also with your lifetime passion for photography, it is easy to blur the boundaries between what you really need and what you just wish for to make things in a better or different way.
What is clear at the moment is that 2025 will be remembered in this project as a turning point in the project in the direction of quality, with 2 major milestone:
- the introduction of the Fujifilm GFX medium format to improve the color side of my photography
- and the introduction of a Monochrome specific camera to improve my BW output.

There is no limit to improvement if you're really passionate about your craft, and I feel privileged to have my Patrons and subscribers to assist me on this path, and always coming back after the Summer break.
