I was looking some YouTube videos about the Leica SL2-S, just to keep informed about what are the opinions of other photographers, and I keep hearing praises about the extraordinary high ISO performances of this camera.
Something I don't agree upon.

To verify I'm not doing something wrong, I posted a query on Leica forum.
I didn't get a definite reply, but numerous people in the forum found my sample pictures to be perfectly fine, giving me the suspect that it is just the normal behaviour of the camera, and I had to high expectations about the SL2-S.
What really made the difference for me in low light performances, has been the recent upgrade to medium format with the Fujifilm GFX, but that is an unfair advantage and cannot be counted as a shortcoming of the Leica.

It was during the previous shooting with Cristiana that I was testing the limits of the SL2-S performances with High ISO, in November 2021, and I found these limits disappointing.
So for this shooting on March 2022, I tried to play safe, without pushing the camera's limits too much, and the quality is much better.
There is no miraculous cameras, and progress are coming slowly, the rest is just marketing propaganda.
