On Saturday I received a message from Maria, and she should be able to come again in Italy in August, during my holidays...
Everything is still to be planed, but it is a promising prospect, because she would be perfect in the abandoned Monbello Asylum near Milano, and in other locations I will have to verify during the following weeks.
If she stays long enough, we could produce at least the amount of photos I would normally do in 3 shootings, and I could pay her accordingly, making her trip worthwhile.
In preparation for this event, I'm also practicing with the retouching of her eye sockets.
The 3 photos I'm posting today, one here, one on my regular social media feed, and one on DA Subscriptions, have been retouched, and they look just fine to me.
Hopefully, with time, I'm going to get better at retouching this beautiful lady's eyes, and with the August shootings we're going to make my life easier with a light make-up, or something similar...
All 3 photos were shot on the Fujifilm GFX 50S II + the Leica Summicron-M 50mm, and cropped to eliminate the heavy vignetting this Leica M lens causes on the larger format sensor.
But tomorrow I'm in Milano, and I have to concentrate on Dovile, because if I really want to create magic, the model I'm working with today is one of the best ingredient to do it!
Stay tuned for friday, when I should be able to show you the first picture of Dovile in 2025.
