Today I'm shooting in Bergamo and, these are the cameras I have with me:
- Fujifilm GFX, with the Contax-Zeiss Planar T* 100mm f2 and the Leica Summicron-M 50mm.
- Leica SL2-S, with the Nikon 85mm f2 AI-s and the Voigtländer Nokton 58mm f1.4 SL II.
- Fujifilm X100VI.
The GFX is going to be the main camera, the Leica is a back up camera and to insure at least some good photos of this new and beautiful model, the X100VI is just in case of emergency.
One camera I'm surely not going to take is the DSLR Nikon D810 with the Profoto flash (the combination I used in this photo with Anastasia), because I hope the natural light is going to be enough, after all, Winter is over!
Old DSLR like this Nikon are still very capable tools, the pinnacle of development of the classical reflex cameras, and ideally suited for flash photography.
But I prefer to work with available light, so mirrorless technology is more suited for my style.
I guess tomorrow we'll find out how I got by with this gear, and I will provide a first teaser of this new model, that really fascinated me.
