Cutting corners.

Sometimes you have to push stuff out, because if you wait until everything is perfect, you're never going anywhere.
I'm slow with my work, because I have little time to do it, but I try to do it well, actually I am usually too pedantic about details I have to retouch, and yet, in this picture, I can see a couple of blemishes on Martina's legs I should have erased.
She looks fine just the same, but I still wish I had cleaned them out.
I know I can't be so pedantic if I want to have a reasonable output of pictures, on the other hand I suffer when I miss something, whilst other photographers couldn't care less about how the model is presented, they just leave everything as it is, or they even enhance sharpness and thus blemishes.
It is also a matter of mood, there are days I feel I want to present a perfect photo, and other days I prefer to give the more natural appearance to my model, for a more honest approach...

I'm not sure how you feel about this problem and if you even notice these kind of spots on the skin of my models but, if you do and you don't like them, I hope you can get over it, at least when I miss them or when I changed my policy about how to manage them...

Yesterday I made an advanced payment to a new model for our shooting on the 27th of October, and in a brand new location she has available.

Yesterday I also explored a location I always heard about, but never visited.
The Ex Manicomio di Monbello in the village of Limbiate, once an asylum for mad people, and now a very interesting place for photographers and film directors.
I have uploaded some pictures to this post, so you can have an idea about the place.
It is far from where I live, but I could take there some model from Milano, when they don't have the location.
Now I just have to think about which model to take and when, most probably it is going to be next year, but who knows...
