That makes a lot of sense. I could see how the pressure to make sure that you create something that lives up to your peers possible expectation. Even if they don't put an expectation on you everyone has that when it comes to someone in their field. For me it's the impostor syndrome for anytime I show off my programming to someone who is knowledgeable on the subject.

It's just that art-trades seem to put me under a lot more stress and pressure than a personal drawing or commission would, and I don't really know why. I felt exactly the same way for my first art-trade but thought trying another one a few months later would be okay... but I was wrong. And I always feel bad for the other artist too, because what starts as a nice way to show mutual appreciation ends up as an overall unpleasant experience (at least for me...) So yeah. I guess it's not my thing...
