A little test in simplicity, with that pinup picture/meme that got around last month.
I wanted to try making a picture with little to no shading, thicker and more "sketchy" lines... And I kinda like this ! I may stick with that for a while, see what I can do with it.

Sorry I'm not more active lately, I've been sitting on a few sketches I wanted to finish (all involving Miss Tira for now) so here is one ! That one was an experiment, for a slightly smoother and simpler style but I struggled more than I thought I would, and the result lacks a bit of "punch" I believe...
So I'm getting back to another style of rendering, (more cel-shady and stuff, kinda like the Karlach one) that I think is more promising for no...
This one was long overdue and I'm really sorry. I had the sketch ready for a few months, but couldn't find time to finish it until recently. I'll need to think of simpler ways to render my art if I want to resume things properly...

Sorry this took a bit longer than usual to come, but I had a lot of things on my plate this month... Hopefully, September should be a bit quieter for me, so here is to hoping I can draw more now !
Anyway, I'm quite liking the way this one ended up looking (from the pose, the rendering and the overall ambience, I'm feeling pretty good about it as a whole) so I hope you'll like it too !

Soooo... this one was a doozie. For two major reasons, and if you're interested in knowing them, here's me getting into it :
Reason A:
You might notice that there is far less "process steps" to show for this drawing, and that would be for the simple reason that I tried an entirely new process this time.
You see; as long as I've drawn digitally, I've always used lines to define contours and shapes, and eventually the line art ended up becoming my favor...

I had a flashback while working on this drawing; of a time when Facebook advertised a new feature allowing you to use "depth maps" to add to your photos, and that would make them instantly look 3D... So I felt like giving it a try !
To avoid giving this to some AI/data laundering machine, I used Depthy for this little ""animation"" and... While I enjoy tinkering every once in a while, making a working depth map for this was oddly time consuming, and the result is not as convincing...

Finally got to the Extra queue from my commission backlog !
And it was funny to see two different people asking for pretty similar ideas, Fire Emblem girls in bunny outfits... How could I say no ?
And since none of them asked for any specific background, I suggested I make one background for both. And they both agreed so, here it is ! Hope you'll like them !

Like Morrigan, Urbosa is one of those characters I have drawn at so many different points in my life that putting them all together, you'd think different artists drew them... Phew, that one was... challenging. I'm not sure why, but I had to re-do the rendering three times before I got to something I kind of liked. I'll admit I am really forcing myself to upload this now, because I have spent too much time on it... But it is time to let it go !

The A.I. we all wanted, but not the one we got, because Life is unfair...
Anyway, that was really fun to draw and once I found my "way" of rendering the chrome for the different volumes, it was actually pretty easy and satisfying.
I may draw some more chromed ladies in the future, once I finish my commission batch... We'll see !
