Chapter Debrief | Session 𝓕ifty-Eight

Starting off, how do we feel about the BDSM club? I know it was speculated that Monroe might be wearing a mask in the club (or engaging with Liberty), but let's be honest... Ro would never let anyone witness Libby in that kind of intimate state.
Monroe did always say she would lose what was left of her mind if Liberty went to one of these clubs, and it seems that happened. How do we feel about Ro's breakdown/opening up? Or the piano history with her mother?
There's a lot to break down there.
Ro prioritizes control, but behind it, there's also a need for perfectionism due to how she grew up. As Liberty internally said, Monroe feared it would be taken away if she were not perfect.
This is a small piece to Monroe's puzzle, but it definitely holds a lot of weight here.
On the bright side, Monroe is willing to let Liberty continue to "get her" as they said, and she's open to talking more about it over dinner. I know a lot of you are screaming with happiness right now (me too).

Anyway, this was the first time I've read something so in-depth about it. Have you really been into one or was this just pure research? (That's just me talking out loud, you don't have to answer) How do we feel about Ro's breakdown/opening up? Or the piano history with her mother? 📌I feel like a milestone has been reached! 🥰 Yay! This is by far, the most unguarded and vulnerable Monroe has been, a lot of questions in the back of my head are now being gradually answered as I presumed there was so much childhood trauma involved for her to turn out this way. 📌Overall, I'm beyond cloud nine for the both of them, it's been an emotionally tiring push and pull kind of situation, it's nice to know what an intimate, honest conversation can do. Then again, this is you we're talking so, I'm assuming we're not out of the woods just yet.🫣 📌Have you ever played piano? Yes. Unfortunately, and ballet. Not like I wanted to do those as a kid. I just had no choice 🫠
