I'm sorry to hear you don't enjoy the interactions with Cleo and Leslie. I can understand the frustration with the questions with Cleo, the questions might be a bit too hard and unfair to deal with. I might eventually come back to both level 1 and level 2 to update them a bit to newer and higher standards. I've gotten a lot of positive comments about Leslie though, most people were able to figure out how to deal with the last sword-charge attack, and enjoyed the little minigame and change to the regular gameplay loop. But I also understand experiences can differ from player to player. For now I'll be focussed on finishing and completing the rest of the game, after everything is done I might tweak and address some of the worst parts of the game. Thank you for the feedback and support.

I'm saying this as someone who genuinely loves the character of Max and really enjoys the game. The Leslie fight is awful. The player is told how to deal with two of the three attacks. You get three chances to figure out the third attack (assuming you make 0 mistakes) and every time you mess up you're forced to watch a 20~ second cutscene that apparently is unskippable (correct me if I'm wrong). The first time it's hot. The 5th time its just extremely annoying. My only other complain with the game is the Cleo questions. Specifically because the majority of them are questions that require the player to have been paying attention to minutia in the beginning of the game without giving them any reason to think they need to do so. Once you're at the Cleo encounter your only options are to either reset, look up a guide or try to brute force your way past. Again, I love the game and the character but I really hope these issues are addressed. In my opinion the challenge of a game like this should come from reaction and not simply guess work. Especially when there's unskippable cutscenes after every failure.

Hello HotTopicWannabe, did you download and read the file called "README from T-Hoodie"? It should describe there step by step on what to do. It's in the download link above. If you're looking at your folder, and you right click the .RAR, and then hit "extract here", you don't see any new files in that folder after extraction? There should be new files coming out and appearing in that folder, the file "Max_The_Elf_DEMO" is what you need to double click to launch the game.

I'll be completely honest, I'm not all that good with computers. I'm having a bit of trouble with the installation. Every time I try to extract the files, It just makes another copy of compressed items. Does anyone know what I'm doing wrong?

Had to upgrade to get it early (money is a bit tight, but your work is jsut amazing and deserves it), and also becouse i love your work more and more, ..and the new level is just amazing- the hard work is seen in every detail, putting those soiled scenes together just perfectly and i just love those animations, they just want to make you swap palces and lose again and again. The hoodie trap and final boss are just best Love your work and cannot wait for more
