A5S Vid Update

So I don't do this enough for you guys.  Twitter has been a much simpler and more convenient outlet for updates, jokes, etc.  While it works for me, it's not fair to you guys if I promised some exclusive insights and everyone ends up getting them anyway.  So, now, just for you guys: some of my favorite jokes and moments, plus the status of the A5S video.

I just finished the rough cut and have just about everyone's character in place.  Unfortunately, if I continue at my normal pace, this will come out before I get my hands on our custom sprites which are looking very nice so far!  At the moment it's just been mine, but the style is great and the discussion with the artist has been a fun one (sample attached).  It's got a nice FFTA feel.  Thank you guys, first and foremost, for making all that possible.  Hopefully this artist is able to hang in there for the entirety of the project.  So far they've been (barely) putting up with how meticulous I can be, but overall it's been a good experience.  We've bonded over the FMA art style, so if you're a fan yourself you might like some of the things we have in store for you!

There is an option, however, to put off the A5S video until I get those sprites and fill the time between with vlogs and specials with members of the team.  We're also progressing through A6S, so it would give me time to catch up and edit those clips as we go.  Let me know what you guys think.

As for jokes, if you've followed me on twitter you're privy to one of my favorites already (image attached).  It's been a running joke for a while now where anytime I brag about my new high crit from a new weapon or gear on my monk, Jesse just hops on a DRG 20 item levels below me and hits the same number with a Jump.  While everyone understands that massive amounts of damage monks are capable of due to Greased Lightning III, it's still a way for them to diss my damage, which they do... hence the face, lol.  Also, our friend Morv subbed for Seebass on the day of our clear since Seebs was dealing with some sort of illness.  It was Morv's first day in and it was very stressful for her, to say the least.  Long story short, lots and lots of hummelfaust wipes.  We eventually got past and worked through Twinkledinks, but had to reset the instance.  "We can beat it today guys" says Jesse. "We just have not be... not be dumb" right before we proceed to wipe on Hummel for the next 30 minutes... But, right after that- well, I'll leave that as a surprise :P
