Grammar Police Updated to 1.8.0!

If you do, you will need to reinstall your BlueLine Dispatch all over again. If your wanting to update Grammar Police, you only need to replace the GrammarPolice.dll
For those of you that use Grammar Police - There is a new update available.
Microsoft has removed the interface for Windows Speech Recognition in recent versions of Windows 11. This would be the reason why some of you are not getting a great response from dispatch using your microphone.

2025-07-25 06:49:23 +0000 UTCThere are a few work arounds. First in the Xscanner menu. There are actually 3 places you can change the volume. One being on the main Background Scanner (If you have the BlueLine Scanner police radio installed) The Police Scanner of course has it's main volume level. Move it past the minimum at the top, midway down the page there is another set of volume controls for Minumum and Maximum sound levels. Move those on up and adjust the main volume accordingly. Lastly go to your "Settings" menu of Xscanner, there is another one called Curb - Crank that one as well and it should potentially put you at a volume level that should not be considered quiet anymore, but loud as hell. If that doesn't work, post back and I will send you a link to look at your PC output settings and advanced settings from there. Good luck

2025-07-18 15:25:55 +0000 UTCHi, quick question, I Just got Xscanner installed and followed your vid to have your dispatch in the scanner, however when receiving callouts etc it's soooo quiet I can barely hear it, I tried changing the volume in the xscanner menu but nothing changes, any workaround?
