I was starting to have hope for Syril fully switching, especially with his reaction to what the Imperials were doing. I think the only thing better would have been if he got shot by a Storm Trooper after being asked who he was.

He takes that anger he is feeling out on Cassian who he blames, when it's the Empire fault. What an amazing scene. This was so brutal and so well done and showcases how many massacres like this happen in history. My gosh. Amazing Tony Gilroy, what an episode.

Deedra coming to terms with what she's done but at the same time trying to pick herself up and carry on? Masterclass in acting right there. Everyone acted their hearts out this episode, I forgot for one second this was space sci fi and the whole rebellion theme just resonated with me (I'm remembering the Martial Law in my country in the 70s where the government fake tried to assassinate a high-ranking govt official to justify declaring Martial Law).
