Okay so, I actually did like Perirn's speech to the kids. There sounded like sincere heart there. I wonder if somehow he is going to "take the bullet" when Mon escapes the Senate. Either metaphorically or literally.

2025-04-27 13:06:01 +0000 UTCI think they've purposely showed us this level of incompetence from a rebel cell (which Saw mentioned in Season 1, btw - the Maya Pei Brigade) to underline Saw's point about so many of them being lost at that point (BBY 5) and even still at this point (BBY 4)... then we will see the growth of the rebellion and the competence start to come in as we go through each arc and edge closer to Rogue One.

2025-04-25 06:30:49 +0000 UTCIt has been fascinating though to see the juxtaposition between the bumbling rock-paper-scissors rebels and Krennic and the actually somewhat competent Empire team. Star Wars so frequently portrays it the other way around, and I do think it is effective in raising the stakes further. Such a great series!
