It is getting harder to decide which of the MI movies is my favorite. I am with Hector that Philip Seymour Hoffman as thew villain with the newer direction of the series was fantastic. The storyline and a lot of the scenes in Ghost Props was amazing, but the villain was a bit lacking. Rouge Nation kind of hit on all cylinders throughout. I guess I am still slightly leaning on 3 in 1st with 5 as a close 2nd and 4 in 3rd and then 1 and 2 (sorry Agustin).

2025-03-22 22:15:45 +0000 UTCFirst time watching and I think this is my new favorite from the franchise (though at this point I feel like every new Mission Impossible movie is my favorite. Hah!) Love the cold open with the death-defying stunt and the humor sprinkled in that scene. Agree with Adam that this movie is the type that underpromised and overdelivered. I really enjoyed it and it was less stressful to watch than Ghost Protocol. (Ghost Protes never let me unclench the whole time I was watching.)
