Love it when you guys watch through movie series! Great chance for me to finally check these out. The action at the end of this was so ridiculous you gotta love it. 🤣 Excited to see things get even crazier!

Great classic Movie Here! As a Hispanic texan I especially liked the "ching tu Madre" at the Part where there stealing the Noc list, that cracked me up! Thanks guys :)

Being born at the tail end of 96 2 was what i was introduced to and still love to this day. The rock climbing, the knife so close to the eye, the kick at the same time. The hair! It was great late 90’s 2000’s fun. Seeing this with you all for the first time its also that same just FUN. I love the water scene the unhinged ethan lol.

I wasn't totally blown away by the first movie either, but it was still groundbreaking in terms of technological development, for example - a little not-unrealistic future prediction (personalized advertising, AI empathy etc.) - had some pretty tough moral/ethical issues addressed (not unlike Star Trek, by the way) and a hefty twist in the final third. The movie gave and gives food for thought, after all! The super-touch screen ideas are still used today in slightly different ways, e.g. in the Iron Man or Avenger movies. I think MI1 was the first movie to invent this haptic and fancyness? (I know there was something similar in the OTR of Star Wars, a kind of precursor). And I was stupid enough to sell all the MI Blu-rays last year. Thank God I still have another Blu-ray of the first movie left to watch it with you again soon after at least ten years or so.

That was my challenge with this film, I loved it but I didn't like that Phelps turned... though now watching it after seeing where Jon Voight has gone in life I am more okay with it. I like how the first 3 movies really felt vastly different in tone. This was the first time I made out that the The Cranberries was playing at that pub scene with Ethan and Luther at the end. MI2 is probably my least favorite of the series, but I still love it so much with it's hamminess. I have easily rewatched it more than any of the others. I think it is also how we got Hugh Jackmen as Wolverine as reshoots pulled Dougray Scott out of the role.

David Lonewolf Wright

Everyone is going to judge me, but the first is actually on the bottom of my ranking of MI movies (it's still great!)

This film series is a journey. Strap in and cruise into the impossible!
