2024-08-18 03:17:43 +0000 UTCOne of the things that was interesting is that Harvey sort of confirmed what Alfred said by repeating to Batman what Bruce had said to him, "Harvey Dent never quits! It's not in my nature!" Harvey was in a fragile state and Bruce did not help. It's interesting that this series really sort of paints Bruce Wayne/Batman as a bit of a sociopath where he is completely putting on the façade of Bruce Wayne, so much so that he doesn't really have ANY friends. Not Lucius, not Harvey, etc. They're just useful people for him to hobnob with to either keep up appearances or for info he can use as Batman. These things have been hinted at during different iterations of Batman, but this one really makes a point to say that Bruce Wayne is psychologically in need of some help. He doesn't go to Harvey to check up on him but to only get the info of who attacked him.
