Fun fact: When the truck with Jonas and Eddie explodes, you can see Jonas's body get sucked out just before impact and fly above the explosion. I love this movie and loved Twisters! When Twisters comes to digital/physical media, will we also get a watch-a-long for that one?

Saw this on opening night and that scene where the tv slides down and stops because of the coax, my buddy and I said out loud, "Thank god for cable!" and the whole theater started laughing. I just did a google map search of Wakita, and one of the first landmarks that came up was Meg's House. It would be awesome if it was turned into a breakfast place. When Jonas truck flew up and you guys said he could still be alive, I immediately thought of Chris Elliot's deliver in Groundhog Day from the quarry scene.

Really fun re watching this tonight. It’s funny how you understand the story between Bill and Melissa more now than before. As a younger viewer, you just wanted Bill and Jo to be together. I did feel bad for Melissa. She didn’t know what she was walking into. Plus it didn’t occur to me that the movie didn’t have major character deaths. Which could be one of the reasons why it was so successful.

This was fun rewatch with you guys. When I was a kid, this made me want to chase tornados as a job. Growing up in the midwest in Indiana, it was thrilling to think about. Safe to say I never committed. Can't wait to watch the new one!
