A. You know Gambit was 100% right about the seasoning. B. The ethics of this episode stank. Let's go Universal Basic Income, Healthcare, and Housing as a Human Right. Plus the X-Men could have renovated the sewers to be more habitable, if that was the Morlock's preference.

They coulda brought Gambits food down there too. Jean tried to bring her cooking but even the Morlocks said “no we’re ok. We already live in a sewer, haven’t we been through enough?”

2024-03-18 07:28:11 +0000 UTCthey understand christmas very well: its about love, family and good cheer and peace for all mankind. like storm says "they dont need presents, they have each other". love is the meaning of life and it never gives up and it is EVERYTHING. they have the love their community, their found family. thats more than most folks have and far more meaningful then material things

2024-03-15 22:49:34 +0000 UTCcall me a sap (ive been called worst) but i love this episode. it is so sweet, wholesome, full of hope. though i dont celebrate christmas i do love the whole fantasy of it. the magic, the miracles, everyone being a better person, the snow, santa it all just touches my heart. this is a 10/10 for me. very rewatchable.

2024-03-15 22:45:52 +0000 UTCthey asked them to come to the mansion in the morlock debut episode in season 1. they dont want to live there so dont blame people for other's decisions. they like living in the sewers. we are responsible for ourselves not others. if you tell sarah "let me help you get off drugs" and she doesnt, thats not YOUR fault. life is about choices, the morlocks made their choice and they have to live with the consequences of them
