The Mandalorian 3x3 Uncut Reaction!

What's up, homies! We loved this different pace to the Mandalorian story. That is all.

Enjoying the series and all the story cleanup it and the other series have been doing to inform us that it truly is a Star Wars story. The Andor vibes gave that eerie scary feeling to the episode.

Perhaps the start of Thrawn.

I definitely got Andor vibes while watching this episode. I liked how they deviated from the main story to show us what’s been going on with crew from Moff Gideon’s ship. Elia was definitely full of poodoo from the start. I did feel sympathy for Dr. Pershing. I got a sense of loss with the character after losing his purpose. Not that I agree with his cloning research but that he saw the potential of using his scientific skills to do better. Then feeling resentment after not being given the chance. I loved seeing all those wide shots of Courscant too. Would love to travel on that subway train too!

i love that they would have caught him pausing during his probation check up if it wasnt a droid doing it, a person would have caught his pause and questioned him. Same with the droids on the train, if it was a person they'd chase and capture them. I kinda like how they show case these instances where it's a determent to not be having an actual person doing the job.

No idea what the heck is going on with the New Republic and that soldier. Who was good in that section of the episode at all? No idea. But it was excellent, felt slightly andor like. Loving this, I am ready for next week.

Also, who else watched Dr. Pershing this episode and thought "Hmm... this guy's got a bit of a Hector vibe..."

"Highhh-way to the... Myth-o-saur!"

This was my favourite episode so far. A few clunky dialogue moments and that train moment felt very contrived but overall I enjoyed the pace of this much more. Felt like an episode of Andor. The bookends stuff about our Mandalorian characters was the boring part for me. I'd like to see more stuff like this.

Anyone whos watched star wars will know TIE fighters/interceptors/bombers were launched from capital motherships e.g. ISD or some other cruiser-carrier type.. theres a big momma fish out there that we did'nt see today and will probably reveal later on.. and as always; its always a joy to see Hector being all optimistic & postive while Adam + Agustin be like "NOPE" hahaha! I like this tone of storytelling in star wars because its like in the books where you imagine/envision what the other roles/ characters are doing on another part of the galaxy and its gonna weave right towards one another at the end..

Wouldn't it be wild if Grogu is actually a Yoda/Palpatine blended clone with inserted memories of living in the Jedi Temple during it's fall? I don't think this is the end of Dr. Pershing and all of his memories. I think Cane is going to get Pershing to continue his cloning research with the equipment he had grabbed and get him to distrust the New Republic.

I would LOVE to see Omega in this show. Dave, Jon, make it happen.
