Hey Critical Crew!
Here's your next sneak peek into next month's "Debauchery in Derelis" - traitorous pirates on the torturous high seas of the Deceiver's realm! Check out the Forsworn First Mate for WIPWednesday!
We showed previously in "Morgus - The Realm of Screaming Flesh" that Perjus is ripe with torture and misery. But what happens to those who earn the favor of the Deceiver, rather than his enmity? As the idea for the Forsworn took shape, we wanted to move the pendulum away from Humanoid and further toward Monstrosity. The crab seemed like a perfect choice.
In life, they were traitors, vagabonds, pirates, bandits, scourges of the sea, liars, despots, and backstabbers... these mortals gained the respect of the Deceiver, master of Perjus. Instead of being trapped, devoured, or tortured within the webs of the skies of Perjus, these souls are transported to the seas of Derelis, their bodies transformed into horrid crab-like monstrosities.
Each forsworn that is "born", appears on a vessel of the Deceiver's choosing, and is meant to take control of the ship as the second in command (or kill its captain and take control of the ship for itself)...
The final product felt perfectly representative of the horrid setting and the miserable existence of the few who rise to this higher position (and the background reveals a preview in itself of the Derelian Pirates! Stay tuned for more!)
We hope you're getting ready to raise the anchors and take to the cursed seas!

Coming at you a little late this week with the WIP "Wednesday" post, but behold! The Traitor! In all his unholy glory!
We figured this time we would show the majority of the development process (and we may start doing this more often in the future) to show how the art evolves as we work on the release.
And hey, since we are showing off the WIP a bit late, how about the final piece too?
This guy came out SO cool.
Hope you are ready for terrors on the high seas! "Debauchery in Derelis" will be bringing you all your piratey and eldritch horror needs ... YAR!

Hi all,
First off, I wanted to share a new feature coming for Loremasters in 2026!
We have created a TON of content over the years (we are nearing 3,000 pages of backlogged content for all of you + maps, tokens, printable cards, music, and more!)
And we realized that it can sometimes be hard to find what you are looking for. Maybe you want a CR 6 Undead monster for your session, or are looking for Blank subclasses or classes, or perhaps items of a certain rarity, but where to find them in that vast catalog of Critical Crafting stuff?
A few brave members of our community volunteered to work with us to develop the Weaver's Web, a wondrous, searchable platform where you can sort through all of our content with ease!
The Weaver's Web is still in its alpha phase, but will be rolling out for use to Loremasters in 2026.
(Quick preview above of a small section of the hundreds of entries, now allowing for easy sorting and searching through our vast library)
More info on the Weaver's Web to come soon!
$2 Price Increase
We are rolling out a price increase effective 12/31/2025. While this isn't something that anyone likes, it is something that we need to do to continue creating.
All tiers, apart from the Early Bird Loremaster and the Apprentice STL-Only tier, are increasing in price by $2.
This is our first price increase since our inception in 2021 (wow, it's been over 4 years of making content!!)
When Will I Be Charged?
After changing a tier’s price on 12/31/25, it will be locked for 31 days at the old price for current patrons.
During this period:
Renewals are billed at the old price
New members pay the updated price (this means for new members, the price increase takes effect today).
Once this 31-day period is over, renewals will be billed at the new tier price
Patreon will also send you an email notification about the price change.
Monthly Members: Price updates take effect one renewal cycle after the change.
When the price is changed on 12/31/25 if you are an existing member with a renewal on 12/31/25, you will still pay the old price on 1/31/26, as it falls within the 31-day Price Lock Period. Your next renewal on 2/31/2026 will reflect the updated price
Annual memberships: Updates depend on your renewal date relative to the price lock period.
When the price is changed on 12/31/25 if you are an annual member with a renewal date of 12/31/25, your renewal will remain at the old price because it falls within the 31-day Price Lock Period.
If you are an annual member and your renewal date is not within 31 days of 12/31/25, the new price will be in effect when you renew.
Why the Increase?
As many of you likely know, the cost of just about everything has gone up quite a bit since 2021. In addition, platform fees for supporting our content, cost of art, website hosting, InDesign and Photoshop licensure, and essentially all other aspects of creating our work have increased in cost, meaning that we do need to raise our tier pricing in order to keep up with rising costs.
In addition, when we started back in 2021, we didn't have anywhere near the backlog available to patrons that we do now, and we hope the vast backlog of content justifies the small cost increase. This backlog grows every month, continually increasing the value of membership on Patreon.
We now have nearly 3,000 pages of 5e content spread out over 51 total releases, hundreds of maps, VTT-tokens, spell and item cards, and more!
We added monthly STLs for Loremasters without any sort of increase in price back in 2023, and also included VTT tokens free of charge as well (backfilling all of our releases).
We didn't have this vast backlog or nearly as much monthly content when we originally started our Patreon and created our tier pricing in 2021.
What Tiers Will be Affected?
All tiers (apart from the Early Bird Loremaster tier and the Apprentice STL-Only tier) will increase by $2 per month.
Annual tier members will also receive a price increase, but will retain their 15% discount (thus, the annual price increase is $20.40 more rather than $24 per year).
Why aren't some Tiers Affected?: The Early Bird Loremaster tier is not increasing in price, as we wanted to give a special thank you to the people who originally backed us when we had very little content and nothing but a dream. These supporters have been around since the very beginning, and we felt we needed to do something special as a thank you to those who have supported us since day one.
The Apprentice tier is not getting a price increase as it is our entry-level tier, does not have a backlog, and also exists primarily for .STL's (an industry that essentially requires the pricing to remain unchanged for this tier).
Thank You
If you have questions, we are happy to help in whatever way we can.
Thank you, as always, for your continued support of all of our creative efforts. We have built this wonderful world of fantasy thanks to you.

CLASSIFIED: LEVEL-SEVEN ACCESS ONLY
Distribution outside authorized personnel is punishable by memory excision.
The following supplement contains consolidated research, containment protocols, and field-ready intelligence regarding The V.O.I.D. and its primary detention facility, the V.C.C. This document is intended to provide operatives, handlers, and external contractors with updated profiles on active anomalies, current containment infrastructure, and sanctioned counter-anomalous methodologies in the perpetual mission to Verify, Observe, Incarcerate, and Destroy.
Exercise absolute caution.
All anomalies listed within remain persistent threats even when contained.
Any attempt to replicate their capabilities without authorization will result in disciplinary action....
.STL's
This month brings our latest .STL for our Apprentice and Loremaster tiers - our latest player class, the Arbiter! This medium .STL file comes presupported and ready to print.
As always - STL's are NOT backlogged, so be sure to download it locally this month!
Adventure / Encounters
Venture into the anomalous chaos of The V.O.I.D as your players learn there are things out there that are simply beyond comprehension. Join up with V.O.I.D. (either temporarily or permanently) with 5 encounters that are ready to drop right into your campaign, or can be strung together into one adventure! Track down an aberration across the frozen wilderness as you attempt to eliminate it; participate in one of the V.C.C.'s horrendous experiments as they test the limits of tortuous pain that an anomaly can withstand; and attend an art exhibition being staged by a psychotic artist who's imagination knows no limits....
Stat Blocks
This release brings you six new stat blocks pulled directly from the deepest levels of the V.C.C.
Confront Subject 0, the Restrained - a cosmic aberration whose black ichor births monsters and whose gaze can erase your abilities from existence. Survive Subject 13, the Artist - a fading creator who redraws himself with whatever materials he can find and can sketch nightmares into reality with a few strokes. Endure the timeline-shattering assaults of Subject 67, the Thing That Should Not Be - a warped Arcanuum experiment that rewrites your turn and devours victims into random planes. Try to outrun Subject 101, the Unkillable Entity - a flayed regenerate that reforms from ash, bone fragments, or particles you accidentally inhaled. And hunt down the insidious Subject 197, the Hivemind - an ancient psychic contagion that bursts skulls, puppets hosts, and spreads across minds like a viral thought. And finally, make use of the Blank V.O.I.D. Researcher, an augmented technician whose scanners and data tools are invaluable… right up until the moment something breaches containment!

Player Options
Play as our latest player race - the Grubling - a small alien survivor pulled from the ice by the Order of the Blank. These star-born scientists are a hive-mind now shattered in the crash that stranded them on the Material Plane. Larva-like aberrations now cling to fragments of a once-galactic intellect, blending eerie telepathy, strange resilience, and uncanny mobility. Known for cold-born endurance and the instinctive brilliance of a species that once crossed the Hollow Expanse without magic. Whether you choose to rebel against the Order that “rescued” you or serve them with grim efficiency, the grubling offers a uniquely alien viewpoint that is equal parts tragic, brilliant, and unsettling.
And we're also pleased to announce our latest full player class - the Arbiter! These elite agents of the Order of the Blank are trained to dismantle magic at its foundation. Wield your warp tablet to anchor reality, nullify spells, and impose order on chaotic battlefields. As an Arbiter, you turn containment into a weapon - trapping foes inside radiant energy fields, suppressing magic in your vicinity, and rewriting engagements through tactical control. Choose your Directive and define your approach: Vanguards turn their containment fields into front-line weapons, Suppressors crush enemy spellcasting with relentless pressure, and Analysts read the battlefield like a machine, bending probability itself to secure victory. Whether you serve the Blank with unquestioning devotion, question their absolutism, or break away from the organization entirely, playing an Arbiter means stepping into a rare kind of power: you don’t manipulate magic.... you deny it. And in a world overflowing with spells, magical creatures, anomalies, and Outsiders, that makes you one of the most dangerous individuals alive!
And don't forget our 4 latest feats to futher help your players customizer their PC's.
Items
This supplement comes with 8 new items and 1 our latest vehicle - the Snowzipper! Go toe-to-toe with nastly ghosts using out Non-Corporeal Entity Retainer, and keep your arsenal of warps at your finger tips with the Warp Tablet!
Warps
This supplement also brings you our 5 latest warps - the antimagic version of magic spells that allow the user to literally warp reality and create spell-like effects! Establish forcefield-like barriers with Antimagic Imprisonment; restrain and subdue with Create Antimagic Restraints; and even control the flow of time with Temporal Acceleration!
Maps
We've also got 10 total battle maps (gridded and gridless variations) - ready for the included encounters (or just as easily used as standalone maps).
Tokens
And lastly, we are bringing you 10 VTT-ready tokens for all of your online needs!

For this release, we have to give a special shout-out and thank you to James Fitzgerald. James is a long time member of the Critical Crafting community, an active member of the discord, and now a guest writer for this release! James has been helping behind the scenes with some special projects, and when we needed some help with getting the release out on time, he volunteered to take on some of the writing and give it a go. He hit the ground running and ended up taking on the Warps, Items, and teh Snowzipper Machine for this release.
^Big Thanks to you Fitz! (just look at that handsome mug)
As always, we have to share some love with the folks in the Hivemind and Playtesting communities for helping us brainstorm and fine tune the content in this release! If you have yet to join the Critical Crafting discord community and get involved, you're missing out!
So be sure to study the case files, keep your distance from the glass, and don’t let the V.O.I.D.’s alarms keep you up at night. Because next month, we’re leaving the sterile halls of containment behind and heading somewhere far more dangerous as we return to the Realm of the Deceiver: the black seas of Derelis, where temptation bites deep and betrayal moves through the water like a tide you never see coming.

This month’s release pulls back the curtain on the V.O.I.D. - the Order of the Blank’s research organization that houses the task forces that Verify, Observe, Identify, and Destroy the unnatural. Deep within the V.C.C. (V.O.I.D. Containment Center), Arbiters are shaped into perfect instruments of suppression, wielding warping technology that bends reality to help eradicate magic. Inside these sterile white halls, anomalies, spellcasters, and even god-like Outsiders themselves are captured, studied, and broken down with cold precision. This is a look inside the Blank’s most secret machinery: the people, the creatures, the weapons, and the protocols built to ensure that nothing unnatural (and potentially world-ending) escapes its containment.
This supplement (dropping 12/3/25) brings you:
Lore - Dig into the lore and protective measures of the V.C.C.
6 stats
Subject 13 - The Artist- A being capable of creating anything by painting or drawing it into existence.
Subject 67 - The Thing that Should not Be - An entity that can force your characters to redo their actions... and take new ones.
Subject 197 - The Hivemind - A being existing in the bodies of others, the Hivemind seeks to assimilate the entire Material Plane into a single consciousness.
Subject 0 - The Restrained - An outsider, a literal god, capable of creation and destruction of entire planes, trapped by the V.O.I.D.
Subject 101 - The Unkillable Entity - A creature that cannot die, living in agonizing pain, it lives through every attack and attempt to eradicate it.
1 full class + 3 subclasses -Contain and research anomalies as a FULL new warping class The Arbiter (magic be damned), serving the Order of the Blank!
1 race - the gurbling, oppressed, used as a labor force, and lacking the memories of the ancient hivemind that once soared through the stars.
1 machine - roll across the frozen wastes in the new snowzipper machine!
5 encounters - Face horrors beyond comprehension and ensure they are secured, destroyed, or... made friends with.
8 items - Learn more about the strange entities from the far realms with the V.O.I.D. datapad, trap ethereal beings with the non-corporeal entity retainer, and more!
5 warps - entrap magical creatures and warn your nonmagical allies to anomalous threats with new warps!
4 feats - join the V.O.I.D. and gain special new character options!
10 maps
9 + VTT tokens
1 new stl for the Arbiter Player Class!

_______
Hey Critical Crew!
This supplement Into The Chapperverse brings you the bizarre world that exists within the hat of the god-like outsider Ol' Chap Ettercap. Here, fantastic shops can be found, creatures lost in an ever-expanding and infinite maze of rooms have made homes for themselves, and creatures and wonders both wonderful and bizarre are brought to life! The Chapperverse is equal parts wonder and madness; a place where even an Outsider’s stray thought can come to life. Step in too deep, and you might find yourself on the wrong side of the counter.
Step inside, adventurers - the shop’s open, the hat is deeper than it looks, and the Merchant always has something new to sell...
.STL's
This month brings our latest .STL for our Apprentice and Loremaster tiers - the Dracocap! (Cause what is more terrifying than a spider mixed with a dragon?) This huge .STL file comes presupported and ready to print.
As always - STL's are NOT backlogged, so be sure to download it locally this month!
Adventure / Encounters
Enter the Chapperverse with these ready-to-play encounters, also designed to work as an "adventure" of trials given by Ol' Chap Ettercap.
In these adventures, your party will be transported to The Chapperverse within Ol' Chap's top hat, unable to escape until they complete their mission!
Steal an egg from a dracocap, convince an AI Chattercap to allow you to pilot a mechasuit, put a Lil' Cutie Cap to bed (or chuck him out the window), box with Swole Chap Ettercap, and attend the horrifying circus of the Dreadercap!
Stat Blocks
You get 5 brand new monster stat blocks + The Merchant Ol' Chap himself.
Beware the dracocap, a spider-like dragon that glides on makeshift "wings" of webbing, reproduces by putting gold inside of its egg sacks, and covets fine clothing. Go toe-to-toe with Swole Chap Ettercap, a protien-powder and supplement enhanced ettercap ready to take on any barbarian. Snuggle with Lil' Cutie Cap, a child-like ettercap capable of blowing bubbles that encase his foes and send them flying away. Attempt to survive the horrifying visions and shape changes of Dreadercap, a shapeshifter that knows your darkest fears. And attempt to confuse or destroy the (not-so-functional) AI Chattercap before it takes over all the jobs in the realm!
Player Options
Play as our new race the Etterling, a new player race born from the Merchant’s imagination, that are spider-limbed manifestations of his personality given flesh. With three unique new subraces, theres enough player options in this supplement to have you tap dancing for joy! Play as the Artistocratic Etterling and show off your gentility, the Comforter Etterling with a fluffy coat of fur, or the Negotiator Etterling and make grand business deals!
Or take on the new sorcerous origin Bloodline of the Merchant, and play as those carrying Ol’ Chap’s spark within their veins. Rewrite reality like it’s inventory, conjure trinkets from thin air, and catalogue the world’s talents as part of your collection. Playing this subclass means bending existence itself - politely, of course!
And don't forget our feats and deficiencies! Use feats to gain meta knowledge of the campaign, traverse webbing with ease, or become a more sophisticated negotiator.
Items
This supplement comes with 7 new items and 1 new graft! Drink Creature Energy Drink to give yourself additional actions, take Bulk powder to increase your strength! Tangle your foes with the sword of webbing, or absorb gold with a magical golden tooth, and more!
Spells
This supplement also brings you 7 new spells! Vanish from harm's way with Tally Ho! Change the prices of goods and services with Create Inflation, disguise items as magical with Swindler's Delight, and more!
Maps
We've also got 10 total battle maps (gridded and gridless variations) - ready for the included adventure (or just as easily used as standalone maps).
Tokens
And lastly, we are bringing you 11 VTT-ready tokens for all of your online needs!

Hey Critical Crew!
Here's your next first-look at what's to come for next month's "Into the Chapperverse" release. Check out A.I. Chattercap for WIPWednesday!
A.I. Chattercap was dreamed forth by Ol’ Chap in a sort of nightmare. In it, Ol’ Chap dreamt of himself as a product of Blank design, a creature that despised magic, lacked creativity, and was nothing but a soulless shell regurgitating information. Despite this, within his strange nightmare, many adored him, calling him the next step in industry and commerce. Waking in a cold sweat, Ol’ Chap was relieved to discover it had all been a dream, but within his magical top hat… that dream became reality, resulting in the creation of A.I. Chattercap.
Oh - and check out this feature if you need a reminder on our opinions on Artificial Intelligence 😅
“Artist”. A.I. Chattercap believes itself to be a true artist and writer, and some people who have no talent or artistic training whatsoever agree. However, all A.I. Chattercap can truly do is regurgitate the stolen ideas of creators it has already seen or read, generating drivel that is often completely inaccurate, anatomically disastrous, or simply lacking in creativity of any kind.
Stay tuned for more soon, as we get this release wrapped and ready to ship!

______
Hey Critical Crew!
This month's release Things That Go Bump in the Night pulls back the veil on the fears that crawl in the corners of every mind and drags us into the uneasy spaces where we must confront it. Here, horror is not some distant apocalypse but instead the quiet panic that grips your throat in the dark, the shapes that stalk your dreams, and the whispers that turn your heartbeat against you. Phobias take physical form - houses that hunger, swarms that blot out the sun, statues that move on the edge of your vision, and spiders that weave terror itself into their webs. Fear becomes flesh, dread is given purpose, and every shadow holds the promise of something waiting to break you. To face these nightmares is to confront the truths we bury deepest - that the monsters we fear most have always been with us. Will your players brave the terror...?
Personal Note
Speaking of scary season.... I was admitted to the ICU this past week with some super fun DKA caused by an infection (scary), but for us, the grind don’t stop! I’m on the mend, and we were still able to get the release out in time! (Praise be to ol' Chap)
Ok, on with the release!
.STL's
This month brings our latest .STL for our Apprentice and Loremaster tiers - the Graveyard Golem! This gargantuan .STL file comes presupported and ready to print.
As always - STL's are NOT backlogged, so be sure to download it locally this month!
Adventure
Just in time for your table's Halloween one-shot, this release features our latest 14-page adventure, The Fall of the House of Desdemona!
The Desdemona family’s estate was once a proud manor, but what lingers now is no home, but instead a predator. Twisted by betrayal, madness, and murder, the house has risen from its foundations as a living engine of misery, stalking the countryside on gnarled, rootlike legs. Within its shifting halls lie the echoes of the family’s gruesome fate, and the bloody jester who manipulated them still laughs from the shadows, juggling severed heads as trophies.
This "reverse dungeon crawl" has your players begin by facing the house itself in battle, only to be drawn into its haunted interior upon surviving the assault. Room by room, they must outlast lesser horrors, conserve dwindling strength, and uncover the terrible secret at its heart. Will your player be able to put the spirits of the Desdemona family to rest, or will they fail, causing the house to rise again hungry for new victims?
Stat Blocks
You get 5 brand new monster stat blocks of various challenge ratings that are sure to drive fear into your players. Beware the Bloody Jester, a sadistic Fey who feeds on joy before turning laughter into slaughter; face the crushing embrace of the Claustrophage, a gargantuan terror that gorges itself on the fear of confinement; and tremble before the Graveyard Golem, a hulking construct of earth and corpses that bolsters the Undead around it. Brave the Haunting House, a sentient structure whose halls shift and seethe with restless spirits; and confront the Horror Spider, a fiend-born predator whose webs weave terror itself into the minds of its prey. Together, these nightmares embody the essence of phobia and dread, each one a reflection of the fears mortals carry deepest, now given monstrous form.
Player Options
This release also introduces our latest subclass for our original player class the Sunscorned - the Tradition of the Broodlord. Broodlords surrender their cursed blood to the swarm, commanding clouds of bats, rats, ravens, and insects that fight as extensions of their own body. These vampires are never truly alone; their vermin grow larger, more aggressive, and more numerous, overwhelming prey in a tide of wings and teeth. Broodlords can dissolve into a living storm of creatures, strike through their swarms as if they were present in every corner of the battlefield, and eventually unleash a legion that devours all in its path. With the Broodlord, the line between predator and plague vanishes... you don’t fight as one hunter, but as an entire infestation!
You also get our latest player race - the Grotesq! Born not of flesh but of stone and spellcraft, grotesqs were once lifeless statues until the Arcanuum awakened them with long-forgotten magic. Now they walk the world as living constructs; guardians without masters, relics without purpose, caught between loyalty to their creators and the yearning for freedom. Shaped by their sculptors, grotesqs come in one of three subraces - Sanctified marble wardens, Sepulchral tomb-guardians, or Bastions hewn from fortress stone - each bound to the places they once watched over, yet free to choose their own fate. Both ancient and newborn, they are statues come to life, marked as spies, outcasts, or protectors in a world that views them with awe and unease.

Hey Critical Crew!
Here's your latest midweek check-in of what's to come next month. For October's "Things That Go Bump in the Night" release, we're bringing real world phobias into 5e D&D with some new takes on monsters, and this week we've got the Claustrophage for WIPWednesday! Check out it's lore down below:
Claustrophages are massive, crab-like creatures that feed on a very particular source... the fear a creature experiences when being crushed to death or confined in a tight space, claustrophobia their dining delight.
Claustrophages are able to magically induce fear of tight spaces into their prey, and will often lurk in a large area such as an open space in a bog or swamp able to house their massive form, but hedged in by rocky outcroppings, trees tangled tightly together, small cave tunnels that create claustrophobic spaces etc.
Let us know who's bringing this to their table next month!

Hey Critical Crew!
We’ve got your mid-week check in on what’s to come next month, and who’s ready for another golem?? October’s release brings real world phobias to D&D and this week’s WIPWednesday post brings thanatophobia (the fear of death) into the spotlight with the Graveyard Golem!
“...Graveyard golems are creatures created by powerful liches, necromancers, gravebound, or other dark spellcasters. The golem is raised from the dirt, coffins, and dead within a graveyard with the creator toiling at night on its construction, imbuing the earth with unholy power. Many dark spellcasters seek to create graveyard golems as walking "buffs" for their armies of Undead, the necromantic powers of the golem granting their Undead additional power. In addition, these golems can detect the presence of corpses (very useful for necromancers), and are even capable of exhuming graves and adding the dead to their forms, increasing their power for a short time ....”
Oh! And did we mention - it's also October's .STL??
October is going to really bring the spooky vibes, so stay tuned for more soon!

Hey Critical Crew!
We can't let today pass without a first-look at October's "Things That Go Bump in the Night" release. This upcoming release focuses on different phobias and working them into 5e. Inspired by coulrophobia (the fear of clowns), check out The Bloody Jester for WIPWednesday!
Check out these two abilities and tell us that clowns are nothing to be afraid of...
Animate Head. The jester animates one of the heads it is juggling. The head remains animated until the start of the jester’s next turn. While a head is animated, the jester can telepathically command the head to do one of the following:
Laugh. The head laughs hysterically. The jester can regain hit points owing to its Feast on Joy trait.
Speak. The head says anything the jester telepathically commands it to,
Bite. The head bites a target hit by the jester’s Hurl Head attack, dealing an extra 2 (1d4) piercing damage.
The jester usually carries 4 heads. Each of these heads has AC15; immunity to poison and psychic damage; and 10 hit points. If all of the jester’s heads are destroyed, it cannot use its Hurl Head action or Animate Head action. The jester gains new heads by decapitating other creatures, usually commanding creatures controlled by its Empathic Feast to do so.
Pagliacci’s Cry. Black tears run down the jester's face, which it flicks at up to three targets within 30 feet of it. Each target must succeed on a DC 14 Wisdom saving throw or begin weeping uncontrollably. The target cannot communicate verbally or cast spells that require verbal components, and it has disadvantage on Wisdom (Perception) checks that rely on sight. A target can repeat the saving throw at the end of each of its turns, ending the effect on itself on a success.
Stay tuned for more soon!

Hey Critical Crew!
We are getting things wrapped on October, and already moving on November and December releases (while even getting some art finalized for January too! 😵💫) We are needing to get the sculpt figured out for December's SCP / Order of the Blank research facility release and we need your help!
We have it narrowed down to:
The Arbiter player class (our upcoming Order of the Blank Full Warper player class, that functions as a specialized unit with the Blank for containing and eradicating monsters and other magical entities)
and The Grubling player race (a spacefaring race that has been frozen in ice for thousands of years after having crashed landed. Very smart, high tech, and advanced, and now resurrected and used by the Blank to learn their secrets of space travel as the Blank sets their focus on The Hollow Expanse).
And speaking of The Arbiter - the class is now fully written and being shared in the Discord with our playtesters. If you or someone at your table would be interested in getting your hands on this class ahead of time, to read and/or playtest at your table and the provide feedback for us prior to the release, be sure to join the Discord at this link! We'd love any and all thoughts and feedback on it.
So check out the artwork below, and let us know which of these you'd like to see become the sculpt for December's release!

Tier Release Links
______
Hey Critical Crew!
This month's release takes us deep into a wasteland born from the ashes of the Mages’ War, where fallout lingers not only in the soil but in the very fabric of reality. Radiation seeps into every shadow - warping flesh, twisting magic, and leaving behind scars that will never heal. Fractures in time bleed strange echoes into the world, and artifacts from forgotten eras that were never meant to be touched stir with forbidden power . What unfolds here is not the end itself, but the sparks that set the destruction into motion - the choices and horrors of this age are what will one day give rise to the nuclear wasteland future. For those who walk here, survival is not measured in battles won, but in how long one can endure the slow decay of the world itself....
.STL's
This month brings our latest .STL for our Apprentice and Loremaster tiers - the mutated Radioactive Owlbear! This .STL file comes presupported and ready to print.
As always - STL's are NOT backlogged, so be sure to download it locally this month!
Adventure
This release also features our latest 20 page Adventure, "Uncovering the Augur Nexus"!
In this dungeon crawl, your players uncover the truth behind the once-peaceful town of Whas - now little more than a mass grave carved by the hands of the Arcanuum Archaists. These zealotous mages have uncovered the Augur Nexus, an out-of-place artifact from a long-forgotten age that is capable of detecting magic and granting unfathomable power to those who operate it. To guard their secret, the archaists enslaved and executed the townsfolk, leaving only ruins and whispers of what lies below. Now the adventurers must brave the excavation site, face the archaists, and decide what becomes of the Nexus - before its power reshapes the world forever.
Stat Blocks
You get 5 brand new monster stat blocks of various challenge ratings and our latest TWO Monster Templates - the Radioactive template (allowing you to reskin existing monsters and create horrifying mutated variants!) and the Gray template (for creating paradoxical monsters and characters from alternate realities! Grays are creatures devoid of color and thus... YOU NEVER HAVE TO PAINT A MINI AGAIN! Just apply the gray template!)
Stalk the wastelands with the Radioactive Owlbear, a mutated predator warped by fallout; face down the hulking Radium Golem, a construct whose very existence poisons the land; and survive the endless swarms of the Radiuroach, vermin that thrive where nothing else can live. Cross paths with the secretive Arcanuum Archaists, mages who enslave whole cities in their pursuit of forbidden relics, and beware the Grays, colorless echoes from fractured timelines that never should have touched our own. Together, these monsters embody the ruin of fallout, paradox, and mutation - threats that we guarantee your players won’t soon forget!
Player Options
This release also introduces our latest subclass for our metal-bending original player class, the Ferromancer (first unveiled in our “Metal Magic” release) – the Study of Radium! Radiumancers bend not just metal, but the unstable power of radioactive elements themselves, channeling decay and fallout as weapons. Practitioners can unleash searing bursts of radiation, shroud battlefields in toxic auras, and even wield irradiated constructs as extensions of their will. Going hand-in-hand with our new game mechanics for Radition and the Irraditated condition, Radiumancers are all about embracing the volatility of the atom - turning corrosion, mutation, and collapse into destructive strength, while risking contamination with every spell cast.
You also get ourlatest player race – the Mnemos! Survivors from a timeline shattered by the nuclear holocaust caused by the eternal struggle of The Mages' War, the mnemos have been cast back into the present in a desperate attempt to prevent the future they remember all too clearly. Shaped by radiation and paradox, they carry both the scars of fallout and the echoes of a ruined tomorrow. Each mnemos bears a Title, a mantle that marks their unique role within the mission - the Archivist, the Beacon, the Requitor, or the Silencer to name a few - and together, they work in secret to redirect history away from catastrophe. Their minds are fractured with visions of what must never come to pass, granting them strange powers over time itself, even as the weight of paradox threatens to unravel them. Haunted yet resolute, the mnemos walk the present day not as natives, but as heralds of a war still to come - driven by the hope that they might rewrite the end of the world...
Items
You will also find our 5 latest Items - protect yourselves with the Hazmat Suit, remove irradiation with RAD-B-Gone or hurl Irradiation Grenades at your enemies - to both help set the theme for the setting and reward your characters for their roleplaying! And what release would be complete without a new game mechanic to introduce to your table? Prepare your table for Out-of-Place Artifacts - relics dislodged from the natural flow of time, space, or reality itself. Neither wholly magical nor wholly mechanical, they radiate power that was never meant to exist in this world. Feared as much as they are coveted, these artifacts bend the rules of reality for those who wield them, but always at a terrible cost. "The Nuclear Option" kicks it off with the Augur Nexus - a towering construct that can seek out spellcasters and amplify the magic of those who operate it. To control the Nexus is to hold a weapon capable of shaping the flow of magic itself - an ability the Arcanuum Archaists will kill to protect and the Order of the Blank will stop at no means to destroy. But every moment spent within its grasp drowns the mind in visions of power and ruin, leaving behind more questions than answers....
And lastly this release brings our 5 latest sigils (magical runes that can be applied to items and equipment to bestow magical features to them)!
Spells
This release also brings our 5 latest magic spells to help your players (and the monsters!) to infect and destroy their enemies with radiation damage and our new irradiated condition, as well as new rules for creating your own ferromancy spells! With spells like Gamma Ray and Irradiate Object, as well as our latest epic cast spell "The Nuclear Option" (splitting a nucleus and literally creating a magical nuke), your players are sure to be in for a devastating treat.
Maps
We've also got 12 total battle maps (gridded and gridless variations) - ready for the included adventure (or just as easily used as standalone maps).
Tokens
And lastly, we are bringing you 21 VTT-ready tokens for all of your online needs!

Hey Critical Crew!
Next month's release drops on Wednesday and it's going to be another great entry into furthering the lore and setting surrounding The Arcanuum and the Order of the Blank. Check out the pitch below and let us know what you're most eager for!
Nuclear fallout is just another front in the seemingly eternal struggle of The Mages’ War - a conflict where reality itself has become collateral. The Arcanuum Archaists enslave cities to unearth radioactive relics, while the Blank’s tampering have created paradoxical monsters known as the Grays from broken timelines spilling into the world (making the perfect use of unpainted minis!) Hulking radium golems poison the land, while radiuroaches swarm in glowing hordes and the feral radioactive owlbears stalks the wastes. These horrors mark the first sparks of the apocalypse that the Mnemos (a mutated race from a desolate future that have traveled back in time to the present day in hopes of preventing their future) know all too well.... the beginning of the end that will one day burn the world in nuclear fire. War... it never changes. This release arms you with rules for radiation, a brand new radium-based subclass for our metal-bending Ferromancer player class, alongside a bestiary of fallout-born nightmares that prove the war is not just being fought - it’s unraveling everything!
Will your players survive... The Nuclear Option?

Hey Critical Crew!
We've got one final sneak peek of September's release before it drops next week, so check out our latest monster template The Greys for WIPWednesday! Check out this snippet of their lore below:
"...In a test to open a door into an alternate reality, the Blank tore a hole in the fabric of reality, time, and the multiverse itself, creating a portal through which creatures of dimensions that have always existed and have never been were jolted together and through. The facility itself was destroyed, replicated in multiple alternate realities, and ceased to have ever existed simultaneously, surrounded by a cloud of gray fog that no magical sight or scientific instrument can penetrate and through which creatures known as “grays” stumble into the Material Plane. Anything that enters this cloud of fog (known as “the Paradox”) faces the same fate as the facility, multiplied, destroyed, altered, and ceasing to exist throughout multiple realities all at once...."
Can we get a collective hooray for a way to FINALLY use all those unpainted minis at the table??

Hey Critical Crew!
We've got your midweek check-in with this first-look of the upcoming subclass for our Ferromancer player class. Check out the Study of Radium Ferromancer for for WIPWednesday!
Radium ferromancers wield an unstable and volatile force, channeling the radioactive fury of their namesake metal. Their very presence exudes a dangerous energy, warping the battlefield with toxic radiation and decay. Unlike other ferromancers who refine and shape metal, those who study radium embrace its raw, destructive power - melding their own bodies with it until they become living reactors of arcane devastation.
With subclass features like Radioactive Backlash and Living Reactor, this subclass is guaranteed to wreck havoc at your table with our new Radiation game mechanics!
Check it out in next month's release and stay tuned for more soon!

Hey Critical Crew!
We're continuing on getting next month's radiation and nuclear fallout themed release ready and we have another first look. Check out the artwork and this snipped below of lore for the Radium Golem for WIPWednesday!
"...Radium golems become more dangerous over time, their inner cores becoming more and more exposed as their exteriors decay to release greater amounts of radiation. The closer to death a radium golem is, the more deadly it becomes. When a radium golem is destroyed, its radium core explodes, leaving behind a radioactive hellscape...
...A radium golem that remains in an area for any period of time usually results in that area becoming irradiated. Because of this, most radium golems are only created or used by spellcasters with protections against their radiation. In these regions, water is poison, the air is deadly, birds that fly too close fall from the sky, plants wither, and no life exists beyond strange mutated creatures...."
Let us know what you think down below and stay tuned for more!

Hey Critical Crew!
It's time for your mid-week check in with a sneak peek of next month's Radioactive -themed patreon release. Check out the Radioactive Owlbear for WIPWednesday!
Once a feared apex predator, this owlbear stumbled into nuclear fallout and emerged as something far worse. Its feathers are singed and patchy, glowing faintly with bioluminescent green veins pulsing beneath cracked, irradiated skin. The creature roars with a voice like broken Geiger counters and snapping bones, leaving scorched claw prints wherever it walks. Packs scatter when it arrives; not out of fear of being eaten, but of what they'll become if they survive the encounter. It doesn't just maul prey... it contaminates them.
Stay tuned for more soon!

______
Hey Critical Crew!
This month, we venture deep into a land where magic is not born of nature, but from something far darker. Morgus, a realm suspended in the twisted depths of Perjus and ruled by The Deceiver - a god-like being known as an Outsider whose very essence thrives on lies and torment. Here, the land itself pulses with the agony of the damned, and corruption seeps into the bones of all who enter. From blood-stained markets to the ever-watchful Celestial Eye, power comes at a heavy price, and those who seek it may find themselves lost to the darkness they wield. Are your players prepared to embrace the corruption, or will it consume them whole?

.STL's
This month brings our latest .STL for our Apprentice and Loremaster tiers - the hungry terror known as the Mawmnomer! This .STL file comes presupported and ready to print.
As always - STL's are NOT backlogged, so be sure to download it locally this month!

Encounters
We've got 5 brand new Body Horror encounters of varying challenge ratings and settings -ready to drop right into your existing campaigns, or can just as easily be used as a springboard into a new adventure.
Enter into the courts of a mawmnomer and find yourselves invited to a feast beyond your wildest imagination; cross paths with a massive behemoth known as a Gaffing Giant as it drags tormented bodies across the desolate planes; and send your players into a tomb of living flesh, where the whispering body parts hold the secrets for their escape...

Stat Blocks
You get 5 brand new monster stat blocks of various challenge ratings and our latest Dermamort Monster Template - allowing for easy reskinning of existing monsters into fleshy variants!
Unleash horrors from the twisted realm of Morgus with monstrous beings that will leave your players trembling in terror: Encounter the Gaffing Giant, a lumbering abomination that drags the dead and dying on its cruel hooks, roaming the flesh-bound expanse of Morgus; the Fleshie, an ever-growing, intelligent abomination that absorbs its victims and takes on their memories, serves only one purpose - unrelenting growth through consumption; and the Mawmnomer, a grotesque entity created by The Deceiver itself, that rules over the Flesh Lands with a terrifying hunger and insatiable will.

Player Options
This release also introduces our latest subclass for our necromancy-based original player class the Gravebound (originally introduced in our "Wretched Dead" release) - the Dermamancy Devotion! Dermamancers draw their power from the manipulation of flesh and skin, allowing practitioners to control and shape living matter in grotesque and terrifying ways. Dermamancers can raise up dermamorts, undead husks of flesh that obey their will, serving as both shield and weapon. At its core, Dermamancy is about using the raw, visceral power of flesh to dominate others, transforming both the caster and their enemies into malleable tools of destruction.
We also have our latest player race - the Penitent! a race of tortured souls condemned by The Deceiver, forever trapped in a state of endless suffering. These disfigured, flayed beings are marked by their painful tasks and the cruel missions they serve under the Deceiver's command. Born from torment, the Penitent can communicate through telepathy, using their anguish as both a curse and a weapon. With their unique ability to endure unimaginable pain and their connection to the dark forces of Morgus, the Penitent are driven by a need for redemption - or perhaps, something far darker....
