This sequel sets up many elements that carry over into the next film and set up the Multiverse Saga's big bad, Kang the Conqueror. Let's see if this rewatch changes our mind about where this film ranks among the rest of the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

Finally upgraded from sidekick to hero, love these movie watchalongs. I am a fan of the charachter rewatches now that the MCU is such a massive franchise and as we are all pretty familiar with the story itll be nice to go back and revisit individual character arcs on rewatches without having to rewatch the whole saga. Please also make a Quantumania watchalong when it's out!

2023-02-04 22:54:00 +0000 UTCThe de-aging in this looks really good. I think the worst example of de-aging is Scorsese's The Irishman. They attempted too great of an age gap. Their faces looked strange the entire time and they moved like 70 year old men. The scene where Robert De Niro beats up a shop owner is hilarious. It looks so bad.

2023-02-04 21:48:26 +0000 UTCI remember being so excited for this movie based off the trailer. Wasp looked so cool. Then was sad to realize they showed every single action moment she had in the trailer. Which solidified my hate of trailers beyond the initial teaser.

I know y'all do reviews, but live commentary on the movie as it happens with tidbits of background info you have like when you watch the shows sounds awesome!

2023-02-04 19:17:37 +0000 UTCI like the 2nd one more than the 1st due to its "It's A Mad, Mad, Mad, Mad World" chase/caper hijinks (and I like Ghost more than Yellowjacket) but I do thoroughly enjoy both regardless.
