Great first episode!. Very similar vibes to the movie but it actually feels more polished and not just because it has much better visual effects. I recently rewatched the film and parts of it come off as dated. I think the new soundtrack and music cues fit the action better.

2022-12-03 10:59:20 +0000 UTCI really enjoyed this first episode. "Charming" and "Fusion" are the right words for this - I agree that it is a nice, light-hearted mix of fantasy tropes and themes. I really like the production values (the sets, costumes, music, etc.). This is definitely working for me. I want to see how all these characters and the plot develops. I'm definitely excited for more.
