Loving the Halloween lore proficiency that Adam brings to the table. The force is strong with that one. Looking forward to rewatching the other watchalongs y'all have. 2024-10-09 03:27:27 +0000 UTCI haven't seen any halloween movies at all, I'm watching only the ones that the boys are reacting to now and I didn't get that dissonance at all. I think how the people react is pretty realistic, each generation after kind of getting less and less interested in his story. Gotta realize that someone going around killing multiple people with a knife on halloween isn't exactly a common occurance and there would obviously be some sort of lore that lingers on after something like that.

The filmmakers claim to erase all of the story that follows the first film but Laurie and the towns people of Halloween Kills act as if he has committed a dozen murderous rampages as the old films show. As it stands, his history from the first film, does not justify the ongoing reaction over 40 years from these characters.

2022-10-22 06:01:51 +0000 UTCI'm not a horror-fan at all, but Mike Flanagan and his shows brought me into it and it's cool to see these movies now that I dare to dive into them. Definitely for a watch of entire franchise after these movies.

A horror, Star Wars, Marvel and Lord of the Rings fan, I'm glad to find a group likes watching alot of the same stuff as me. I have seen the Halloween movies many many times and even went to the Halloween 25th Anniversary convention in Pasadena. During the convention, a select few got to see where they shot alot of the films and get a chance to inside the Meyers house. Fun times and I miss living in Cali when I watch these movies. I hope you will watch the rest of the films next year because I actually do love the original timeline of those films.
