2022-07-02 04:14:33 +0000 UTCI'm 99% sure that Butcher knows about the Spice Girls cause that's the band that his girlfriend probably wanted to see at the start of the episode of the flashback and he obviously either knew a lot from her or from going deep into what she loved after whatever happened happened. Which I love they don't say that, but the subtext is perfect. Man this episode also hooked me, and made me want Homelander to get his just rewards.

I only just started it a few months ago (I am all caught up with the episodes at this point) and was blown away by how well the story is told. These writers seem to lead with story and characters first and don't just burn time until the next moment they had on the whiteboard. I assumed because of all the gore and extreme stuff the show was gonna be all spectacle and I was totally wrong. It is so well written.

2022-06-28 22:44:10 +0000 UTCThis maybe the episode where we get to see all of the Seven's motives for the rest of the season. And we're introduced to a brand new character "The Female" whose backstory has so many layers. Plus Frenchie has become my favorite character in this show.

2022-06-28 18:43:47 +0000 UTCSpeaking of Starr, he is just exceptional at playing the villian in this series. Prior to this series, I knew him in another series called Banshee. Its a former Cinemax tv series currently being aired now on HBO Max. Its the best action series you all haven't watched yet! He played the lead. His portrayal is for me the reason he landed this role. I really hope this series catapults him into super stardom. He deserves it. I am really looking forward to seeing what his future looks like. Great reaction! I can't wait to see what the rest of your journey looks like with this series. Frenchie is bae!
