So on the one hand, I'm disappointed in myself for taking so long to get to this show. On the other hand, I'm really glad I can jump straight to episode three now because, damn, that ending hooked me!

2022-06-26 10:56:49 +0000 UTCSpeaking to the stylized "graffiti" being used more in the first episode, it seems more like when Kamala was fantasizing about things, it was used a lot more, but now she's dealing with her new reality a bit more so it isn't needed as much as much.

2022-06-16 03:58:45 +0000 UTCAs much as I want Agustin's theory to be canon, I think the animation of Bruno with the atoms during the credits actually just beholds him as the "science guy". Almost like Kamala's guy in the chair. But who knows? It's the MCU-- anything could happen!

2022-06-15 23:38:09 +0000 UTCWhen you guys were talking about the balance of the visual flairs and I thought about both eps and those fantastical scenes tend to be in Kamala's mind and daydreaming. She did it more in the first episode because she didn't have any powers, so it happened more. In this episode, she was focusing on her powers and the history of the bangle & also her family dinner and hearing a little history of their family. So, to me, I was thinking of it in a story-sense rather than a technical-sense and that's why the difference in the two episodes didn't jump out at me as unusual. So yeah, I do think that the amount of it in the episode will totally depend on how present she'll have to be or when she'll have more time to daydream.
