2022-06-09 01:50:02 +0000 UTCIt's easy to miss. The only clue is her friend calling out her name off screen in that scene. It's one of the "drawbacks" to this show being so visually alluring. The imagery sucks you in to the point that things can just slip past you. That's why it stands up so well to re-watches.

2022-04-26 05:56:14 +0000 UTCThe voice actress for Powder was Mia Sinclair Jenness. Thinking back to the end of Ep 3, she was 11 when they recorded her lines. That scene when she was pleading with Vi not to leave ... that was a first take.

2022-04-25 13:35:33 +0000 UTCThe reunion at the end of the episode was one of my favourite scenes from the whole series, so much tension building up and then exploding into that fight. So good! Also, Hector shipping Vi and Caitlynn was so much fun to watch.

2022-04-25 01:01:01 +0000 UTCI love the design of the Fireflies, you're gonna learn a bit more about them (and their leader) in next arch. Though this is my third time watching, I can't help but tear up when those two sisters meet again. The setup story on episode 3 was so strong...

2022-04-25 00:57:16 +0000 UTCThey get the best guests on Corridor Crew! Seeing the breakdown of the animation style was awesome. It's a tribute to the show that it's still being analyzed and reacted to long after the first season wrapped.

2022-04-24 17:58:02 +0000 UTCThe girl watching young Viktor wind up his toy boat wasn't Zendaya. It was Sky. Ms. Young from the previous episode. Viktor and Jayce's assistant.

2022-04-24 15:30:12 +0000 UTCThat whole sequence with the music and the lighter gave me chills the first time, and every single time after that. It is so amazing, and I am glad you are loving it.

2022-04-23 20:04:25 +0000 UTCThis is my third watch of the series and has quickly become my favorite animated series ever. I’m loving the commentary here from our guys . They’re always so insightful and funny, and I love how they’re willing to talk about the small details that most folks miss. To me, this reaction is the perfect marriage of content between series and reactor.

2022-04-23 18:06:38 +0000 UTCAt the crossroads of Hector enjoying the use of shadows with the Hexcore and plant and Augustin appreciating the series use of visual storytelling ... go back and watch the scene where Silco is playing with Marcus's daughter and pay attention to the shadow of Silco and Ren up on the wall of her room when Marcus walks in on them. Along those same lines I think it was Adam that mentioned liking how the boards of the stairs flexed under the weight of an enforcer in one of the earlier episodes. When Marcus is talking to Jayce look at how the tip of his pen flexes as he's writing. If you've never written with a fountain pen, that's actually how they work. The attention to small details in this show is phenomenal.

2022-04-23 03:56:38 +0000 UTCLove how much you guys are loving this. I have to say. Everytime they move up close on Mel. She's so pretty.

2022-04-22 23:22:01 +0000 UTCThe urchin was the man that was going to be taken advantage of by the thugs in the first episode that Vander made them honor their original deal.

2022-04-22 22:07:13 +0000 UTCArcane and Into the Spiderverse have shined a stark light on the fact that live-action is not necessary for high quality content. I do not see why people think that live-action is the pinnacle. Animation can be so much more expressive and kinetic and people are far more likely to suspend disbelief which is perfect for comic book movies. I really hope we see a Batman animated movie with this level of care and attention.

2022-04-22 22:02:21 +0000 UTCHector is right-- that character that assisted Caitlin was at the bar in the first episode being threatened, when Vander stepped in to de-escalate. Loving seeing y'all go through the journey of this show!

2022-04-22 22:02:15 +0000 UTCI imagine that there are a lot of moments beyond that one trade where Vandar came to Huck's aid! Also, because a lot of reactors miss it...the scientist that young Viktor first meets with Rio and then later returns to, as an adult, is the same scientist that was helping Silco with shimmer at his underground "lair". Not much needed to connect the dots that Rio was instrumental in creating early variants of shimmer. This scientist gets burned something terrible during the events of episode 3, hence is appearance near the end of this episode. Really glad to see more people enjoying this, as Agustin puts it, masterclass of storytelling!

2022-04-22 21:56:35 +0000 UTC"native YouTube Player"... You guys probably had your head around that episode... This is my fifth playthrough of Arcane. It became my most favorite episodic show ever.

2022-04-22 21:52:03 +0000 UTCWatching Arcane with you guys is my 4th time watching this show and I'm still so invested, excited and just amazed by the story, animation and just the art of this show. Something that gets me over and over again is when Jinx asks Vi if she's real. That's just a small question and most reaction youtubers I watched didn't seem to care much about that but it hits me so hard. You can see Jinx' mental health in this question. I love this episode so much!

2022-04-22 21:34:04 +0000 UTCHappy you're still enjoying it. The scene with Jinx calling out to Vi, the blue smoke, the music, how Mylo and Claggor are there with her, it's heartbreaking every time I see it. Such a masterwork of animation. Edit: The guy showing Caitlyn where to buy "medicine" is the guy from the first episode doing the trade in The Last Drop, where Vander came around to make sure he gets paid what was promised.

2022-04-22 21:28:43 +0000 UTCThis episode keeps getting better every time I see it. Only episode 3 and 7 top this. Oh boy, I can't wait for next week!!
