2021-11-19 14:07:07 +0000 UTCThis might be my least favourite episode of the whole show. I feel like it brought all the worst writing choices to the forefront. The detective B plot never really grabbed me, and I think what we learn in this episode regarding that plot doesn't really make sense for a show that didn't initially plan on having multiple seasons. The other writing choice I don't agree with is the cop out ending for poor Sae-byeok. It's like they ran out of ideas on how to eliminate her in a way that made sense. Not only that, but then she was just reduced to a plot point to make Gi-hun fully realise Sang-woo's descent. I think this whole episode and a couple of choices in the finale really sour what has been an otherwise emotionally intense, but really entertaining series, and it's such a shame.
