I think Crosshair's scars on the side of his head is from the burns he received from the episode when they were on the starship scrapper planet. I believe season 6 of The Clone Wars is where it was confirmed that Master Sypho Dias (spelling) was a Jedi master who was captured and Dooku impersonated him and commissioned the clone army with the Kamoians. The fact that the Jedi Council found that out and knew there was an inhibitor chip in the clones, should have sent up a lot of red flags. It makes me think of the few times that it was brought up that the Jedi got too used to being in the war and it changed them and blinded them to many things.
