Since it has been HOTLY debated since the episode aired, Muchi is NOT the same Rancor that Luke dealt with in RotJ...that was a male named Patessa (my spelling is awful). So Jabba had multiple Rancor, and we can apparently enjoy Muchi without having to worry. :D (Again, not sure if this is legends lore or the New Canon superseding all that has come before...but either way). Since nobody seems to be able to track down the maturation rate of Rancor the discussion has turned into whether Muchi is a sibling or a parent to Patessa. :D ...My favorite moments were Muchi employing the "bite the tail" technique...and Wrecker and Muchi being so tired they couldn't even connect their punches in the end. :D
