Cap's monologue to the Senators and the scene with Isiah at the Smithsonian man... they hit extra hard. I can't wait to see the new cap movie tomorrow. Looking forward to y'alls review and thoughts. I had a helluva night, so while I enjoyed the episode the first time I watched it this morning, I know now that I wasn’t in the best head space. It came across more televisiony, like an episode of Arrow. Watching it again now, with you guys, it hit home hard. It was stellar. I’m with you on the suit — you can’t take your eyes off it when he’s on screen, and only Anthony Mackie could pull off that design. His facial structure and physique look perfect in what would look horrible awkward and uncomfortable on a mere mortal. I was waiting to see Hector’s joy in how much they gave to Isiah in this finale and ultimately the whole show. How amazing, a plot that would’ve felt rushed in a movie was given so much room to breathe. Buckys joke about texting, I only heard black guy and Stars and Stripes... so sharp. You’re right. A bit of a miss getting to the end and not being able to remember Karli’s right hand man. I still need to look it up. Desmond Chiam is Dovich. Dovich. Dovich. If I were Russian I would be Chadovich, no? Cha! Dovich. Got it; committed to memory. Great run, Heroes. See you next time!

I would love for him to be a mentor type to Sam or just like a confidant to talk to. And that leaves it open for Eli to stay in the picture. Hector, I agree with you. I so hope they use this actor as Patriot. We have some context with this young man.

One tiny moment that really struck me aside from all the other ones you guys highlighted though, was when the hostages are getting out of the truck and the last one says to Bucky, "Thank you...for saving us." Bucky looks at him for a second kind of surprised at being thanked and then says, "You're welcome." Its as if Bucky never considered that his actions could be seen as a positive, helpful thing again until that moment.

2021-04-23 22:31:40 +0000 UTCI thought the core of the show, Sam becoming Cap and Bucky finding atonement was well done. When Sam brings Isaiah Bradley to the Smithsonian I choked up and cried, full stop man. Same thing with Bucky when he confronts Yori. I am so invested in the Cap lore from the comics that it is really really really hard for me to see Sharon be portrayed like this lol. But thats just the stubborn comic geek in me. Sharon is my only real critique from the show, but I trust Marvel to have plan for the future. Over all I like the series, and I thought Anthony Mackie and Sebastian Stan did a phenomenal job. Carl Lumbly was lights out exceptional.
