Battlestar? More like BattleTOAST

As someone said before please bring back the blurred version at the bottom of the screen. It was a genius idea which helped tremendously. You guys skrulls?

Hello Heroes Reforged, Big Fan here. Why did yall take down the blurred out version of the episode behind the Timestamp? When I lost my place it kind of help me get back depending on what shadows and figures I seen through the Glossy/Blurred Look of the actual Episode behind the Timestamp. It helped me sync up even when the time stamp was actually off a little from mine and I just used the scene change in the blurry version to find my place. Will yall bring that back soon? Or is it gone for good

Marvel is hitting it out of the ballpark with its look inside racial issues in America! It’s notable that it’s Lemar’s death that serves to reveal the true Walker to the world - the Black best friend who serves as emotional support to a white man. As the Black sidekick, I think Lemar represents the very thing Sam is afraid of being seen as, which is why when Walker referred to him as Cap’s wingman, he didn’t like it. Lemar being seen as less than Walker while doing just as much work, and putting his life on the line just as often, is highlighted in the scene where Walker is asked for an autograph but Lemar is not. The encounter is played off with a bit of humor, and Lemar mentions that it’s a shame he isn’t asked because he’s worked out a Battlestar insignia to go with his signature. There is a sadness in his admission, that as a person of color I picked up on – the idea of serving the government and still being unwanted...

Best episode yet. I’ve got a theory on BS nor being dead but paralyzed but ima hold off , I don’t want a mephisto moment lol Ayo stole every scene. When she curses Bucky, she means it. He betrayed her trust and wakanda. The arm never belonged to him, it was a weapon given to him to use for the protection of Wakanda. He’s blinded by his need fo restore the shields legacy. Walkers decent info madness was wonderful. The subtle twitching and eye movements, the bleeding from his head , I think an affect of the serum just being taken. Sam has to take shield. He deserves it now he’s realizing it but I want them to really discuss his reasons for saying no

Amazing reaction as usual! I was gonna watch it late yesterday, but my headache can't be tolerate any longer. So here i am, watching this 2nd time. That opening scene with Bucky is so powerful. This episode just became my 2nd fave through the series so far. It's amazing how u can slowly see Walker losing it. The fact that he's so obsessed on carrying the shield n on the serum, u realized how he strapped in the shield back even so nonchalantly after killing that man. My God. There are so many things to unpack in this episode. I can't wait for the next episode.

sure but cap never killed someone who had their hands raised trying to surrender, he was no longer a threat but walker murdered him in blind rage--something cap has never done

Melanie Montoya

my favourite episode so far. Seeing that shield makes me miss chris evans so much

andrea mejias

right lol big moment they just completely missed, still love these guys tho

Trevor Silveri

Why is everyone saying steve Rogers never killed anyone? His body count is HUGE. In winter soldier and in civil war he kills tons of people

Agreed....the way that played out in these episode was very moving from start to finish, and then "disarming" him was so heartbreaking. For some reason it reminded me of Odin stripping Thor of the hammer: "You are unworthy."

RYE

Which makes a world of difference? Steve was never trying to kill Tony; he wasn't even acting out of rage. He was acting out of a desire to protect Bucky and he always held back enough to not really cause permanent damage to Tony--he stopped the moment he was sure he had the upper hand and could walk away. Walker was just acting out of anger, not thinking on consequences, and didn't understand the need/or have the desire to hold back.

RYE

I loved your reactions to this, as always, but you said Steve wouldn't have done what Walker just did.. But Steve did to Tony in Civil War. Only difference is the guy in this episode didn't have titanium/gold alloy armor on.

Kaz Patton

Awesome reaction as per usual you three! Also, on a very related note; please do a "Are you a Skrull?" T - cos I'ma buy it in a heartbeat.

Denis

That's a good point but they all didn't start off as weak as Steve

José Roberto Sánchez

All of the individuals who we have seen get the super soldier serum have injected like a fraction of the amount Steve got. Those vials were mini sized compared to the ones Rogers was injected with. Steve received 6 JUMBO sized vials of the perfected Erskine cocktail and Vita Ray treatment. I wonder how much stronger Steve was compared to the ones who received it after him. I am curious how much Isaiah received too if he was the subject to test before Steve, maybe even more than him.

tloger

What an epic episode.

Leonard Kim

i really need to see bucky gain the wakandans trust back bc ayo looked so disappointed in him it actually made me sad

dawn

Ya'll made it sound so casual but what IF that is the excuse for John Walker killing homie, ***"That wasn't me folks, that was a skrull"*** (Possibly giving all skrulls a bad look, pissing off Talos?) OMG lmao. Gonna be a long week of waiting hahah

Nate Estrada

I hope the next episode opens with Sam trying to talk down Walker and telling him this isn't what Captain America is about. If it doesn't I'm afraid we won't get to see him getting the shield in the limited time we've got left.

Tstcvmware Vmware

that reference to when john walker killed a room full of people at the end of this episode is just amazing

Cyrus Williams

When the Dora kicked their ass and took the shield, I was like “THEY’RE TAKING IT BACK”. I think that moment was the best moment on this very good episode

Julian Ortega

No joke. I love these guys (obviously, we're all patreons here) but I wish they would tone it down juuuust a little bit with all the banter and leave some of the discussion for after the reaction. Just a minor nit pick of course, the reaction overall was great as per ususal.

Steven Kuit

Omg the emotions ran the gammit. I went from completely fangirling watching the Dora Milaje own their scene to feeling like I'd been virtually gut punched just seeing that final shot with walker and the bloody shield. Great episode!

Titan Frenchies

What a great episode. Marvel, as usual,is killing it.

Anthony Pifer

You missed the reveal that he had the serum already while you were doing that italian stuff.

Curtis Murphy

Woah super quick upload. I just watched it a few hrs ago.... time for a rewatch 💃

Hibz

When it ended I was like: DAMN!!!!! please don't end.
