An honest update: burnout, MCR2, and what’s next

Dear friends,

You’re probably wondering what’s going on and why the next release still isn’t out. I completely understand your expectations, and I’m truly sorry that I haven’t always been able to meet them.

To be honest — I’m burned out. I know MCR2 needs to be finished, but I don’t want to wrap it up half-heartedly. Every route deserves a proper ending, and right now I just don’t have the energy or inspiration to deliver that.

To avoid slipping into full-on depression, I’ve started focusing on what excites me again — a new project. In this one, I want to combine explicit content with a genuinely engaging story. I’ve been pouring myself into the script and character development, and it’s been helping me reconnect with the joy of creation.

That said, I’m not abandoning MCR2. I fully intend to return to it and finish it properly — hopefully within the next couple of months.
