Canvases and fishbowls are essential tools used by Escape Artists in the creation of flux destinies.

They are specialized fabrics that can safely contain entire flux destinies within them, preventing them from being collapsed by the Great Machine or destroyed by payback.

These canvases are made from rare, naturally occurring crystals that are only found in certain regions of the world. The pacifist nation of Tranquility is the largest supplier of raw canvas material, fiercely guarding their precious resources against the selfish intentions of other countries.

Canvases are expensive and are mainly used for large-scale flux destiny projects like building construction.

As modern scientific advancements progress, cheaper, synthetic canvases have been developed for home building and other projects, making flux destinies more accessible to the middle class. However, these synthetic canvases come with their own dangers. If they are poorly made or experience a tear, the flux destiny contained within it can collapse and potentially cause harm to those within or nearby.
